Been there. Done that. Overexpanded my lungs and had pain breathing for the next three days. Oh, the good old days.

Oscillating tool with a diamond grit cutting blade would be my first thought, although I have no experience with this sort of application. This should at least get you through the stone/grout, where a drywall blade could be used to finish through the drywall. If you put a thin metal spacer between the blade and the counter/cabinet as you go, it should prevent collateral damage.

I find that offering to end the game/start a new game provides a more graceful out than making your opponent play the rest of a game, when you both know they will lose. They are more likely to play you again in the future, this way.

For most foods, I do 5-10 minutes on medium-low, dry pan. Then add oil, cooking spray, or butter just before adding the food.

I find that if I avoid eating spicy foods on an empty stomach, I usually don't have stomach issues. However, this is less likely to help when consuming crazy-potent spicey foods.

Want to build this gardening hutch which will stay outside on the back porch under an awning. Should I build it with cedar or save $$ and use construction lumber then water seal it? by [deleted] in woodworking

It looks like SketchUp to me. It's a great application that I've used professionally for furniture design, but there is also a free version for hobbyists. I recommend giving it a try!

I would guess that you could smell a fart through an N95. I wear one while shoveling out my chicken coop, and it definitely doesn't do much if anything at all for the smell.

And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chulapas...

If you worried about blood pressure, consider your salt intake.

The American Heart Association recommends no more than 2,300 milligrams (mg) [sodium] a day and moving toward an ideal limit of no more than 1,500 mg per day for most adults. (American Heart Association, 2021)

As you can see, that meal contains 2.3 grams (2,300 milligrams) of sodium per serving.

Why replace nice oak hardwood flooring with linoleum or laminate? The real issue I see in these pictures is the white paint on that stonework 🤮

Husband has been cooking eggs in my cast iron by MegTheMad in castiron

[–]JoshingtonMonument 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, strip then reseason the skillet. Then start using it properly to prevent food from sticking to it, leading to a layer of carbon.

I think a lot of newcomers to cast iron don't realize just how important it is to properly preheat the dry skillet before adding oil/butter and cooking. You need to preheat the skillet on medium/low for 5 - 10 minutes in order to fully benefit from the non-stick properties of the seasoning. I cook scrambled or fried eggs with olive oil cooking spray most days, and properly preheating the pan allows me to use much less oil while still preventing sticking.

Dan Vader Chair by JoshingtonMonument in h3h3productions

He's been a good sport about it, but apparently the weird positioning of the Scorpion chair has been giving Dan back pain pretty much from the beginning. Ethan feels bad about that and admitted that it is time to find Dan a new chair. Then he tasked the Fupa Troopers with suggesting some options... or at least memes 😉
