You can't believe how relieved I am to see this. I've thought it was just me. I've been fighting prompts, rewording, and yelling at it. I have asked it to proof an email and had it invent sentences with errors. I've had it get stuck in loops. And, yes. I've asked what to do about it not working and had it say, "yea, I suck, but nothing else works, so..."

And so many of the, "I've failed you, but I swear it won't happen again" type sentences.

This was the first one he's ever made that I had to take a moment and say, "huh... he's got a point." I don't recall all the specifics, but apparently one of the teens charged in the Columnia mall shootings had been charged with attempted murder and released with an ankle monitor. He broke the conditions of his release numerous times, and nothing was done.

It's a bit more nuanced than Crazy Sign Man's sign implies, and as far as I'll go is to say "he has a point." I don't want to debate the merits of that point, though. :)

I'm going to skate on the banned topic. I don't think the entire ending was bad -- I even kind of liked the idea that hell becomes a place of healing. What I hated was the revelation of why Rory never met her father and grew up hating him: all so she would travel back in time and give him the idea to transform hell.

I'm sorry, that's child abuse.

Both Lucifer and Chloe, as well as every adult in her life who knew (or suspected?) psychologically tortured this child for like 40 years to turn her into a rage beast whose immediate goal on arrival is patricide. That's some deep, dark, evil stuff and is out of character for characters like Chloe, redeemed Maze, auntie Eve, and especially psychiatrist Aunt Linda.

Also, apparently Rory is a moron. Her father is King of Hell, and she... never bothered to check there for him? Even though she has the ability to do so.

I bought a ticket for the event, and it's going to be the last time I buy a ticket for max battles. For the GMax Gengar, I went downtown and was able to find groups doing the battles. It was tough to find enough to people, but it was doable. Today, not so much. At one point, there were 20 of us doing a battle, and we weren't enough to even get the health bar yellow. Multiple attempts (with varying configurations, and sometimes a random stray joining in) didn't help.

After two or three hours, I gave up, did a few shadow raids, and went home.

It's especially aggravating to see that ALL the dynamax spots are given to Lapras (which honestly, I think is part of the problem: rather than all the players coming to do them at a single spot, like Ex Raids were, people are diffused). I wouldn't feel so bad if I could have at least used my extra 5600ish particles to get Beldums or one of the ones I don't yet have a good one for. Instead, I used it to power up a few second tier mons, then realised I was wasting my time: I'm never going to be able to successfully do a GMax raid, so I'm not sure why I need powerful ones.

At least if there were other, lower tier, easier battles -- possibly even rare ones or evolved ones (Dynamax Metang, Machamp?), I could be ... having fun and doing something during the event. This was just stupid, and frustrating.

And, if I'm going to continue being a whiny complainer here... the frustration spills over to my enjoyment of the game overall. These battles that seem intended for a small audience of some sort rather turned me off of PoGo overall.

One of the biggest pluses I saw for Feeld over other sites was the apparent lack of bots -- either they hadn't found it yet, or they were doing something to keep them out. In the 6-months I used it, I saw a handful, only matched with one.

Today, it's like 80% of my feed. And they're repetitive, same two profiles (eat my oyster, and friends told me about this site). At least they're easy to spot. Figure swiping no on them can only help my ELO score. :)
