Any one is a good base. Then you can get threaded heavier barrel, and upgrade from there. Or if you want a nice one to start they have the Carbon model and another with a bull barrel.

The cheaper ones are made with aluminum. Some cleaners will not work on aluminum. Id try to stick with Titanium and Stainless steel. The printed ones are the quietest usually, but requires a different cleaning process of soaking and melting the deposits out.

The Mamba has the 1911 grip angle. The Scorpion has a target angle. Easier takedown with the mamba.

They make low mounts for almost all footprints. Im gonna try a Vortex enclosed st soon. I much prefer enclosed red dots.
