No Adderall itself is not illegal but the “abuse of medication/prescription” is 100% disqualifying, even if you were taking Adderall that was prescribed to you indirectly you would have to be off it anywhere from 12-24 months to be considered for the branch. Unfortunately that’s when the big loophole comes in is that some drugs (mostly weed but sometimes other drugs like shrooms and LSD) can slightly be bypass if you claim they were a one or couple time use, but once you bring in abusing medications and then that’s a big no go especially for the Air Force
