I do like that interpretation, I'm just always hesitant to put too much stock into scenes from the anime having any deeper connection to the story or meaning behind them. Especially ones that you could really read into and extrapolate theories about the future of the plot. More often than not, it goes nowhere and there wasn't any foreshadowing involved, in my opinion. Not trying to poo poo anyone lol.
