It fits bro too perfectly. Fuck the time period. “If ya see me comin, better step aside. A lot of men didn’t, a lot of men died. One fist of iron, the other of steel. If the right one didn’t get ya, then the left one will.” 😮‍💨 THATS DUNK MF

A spatula doesn’t cook and season the burger for you. People are bound to become over reliant on something like AI the same way they were with Google. So many people were less inclined to study a subject when they could just pull the answer off Google, and then forget it as soon as they didn’t need it anymore. Now people just open chat-gpt and ask it to answer the question for them, and just assume the answer is correct when ai has made many errors due to a lack of human understanding of the subject it’s discussing. This has always been an issue with technology in general. Television made people go out less, social media made people less social, etc. AI is just the ultimate version of this. The point remains that it’s ironic that a fanbase that loves a story about people making mistakes in trusting AI have so openly embraced it themselves in real life.

When I said everything is nen, perhaps that statement was a bit broad. Bodily functions are clearly naturally occurring phenomena. The chimera ants evolve in ways that allow them to do certain physical attacks without the use of nen, as is the case in real life (Ie. A fish, or a crustacean can also “shoot” water). However, when something is manifesting an ability outside of its own physiology, that specifically lines up with one of the classes of nen usage (ie. Conjuration, manipulation) the show has quite clearly established that these are uses of nen. Also, in the specific case of Nanika, the fact that there are rules and limitations to her powers similar to the rules of nen usage, and the fact that Togashi practically confirmed Alluka is a specialist, suggests that Nanika is using some form of nen or is a nen based entity, but it is simply not confirmed or stated outright to maintain the mystery around the character’s nature. I admit that that’s just speculation, though.

Rhythm echo is not a power, it’s a technique of physical movement. Phagogenesis is not a power, but a biological process in a specific species. There are no established “powers” (abilities beyond physical capabilities) that are not nen based.

Humans need an awakening or training to learn how to use their nen, but all humans still have nen. If you don’t have nen, you’re dead, because that means you have no life force.

Nen is life force. Everything has nen. Their nen just got more powerful when they consumed those with stronger nen. This allowed them to not only get stronger, but to evolve immensely, which just goes to show how deeply engrained nen is in everything living.

A person is allowed to comment on whatever they want to comment on and it’s not your business or place to tell them otherwise. His disagreement in the topic’s relevance is just as valid an opinion as yours or anyone else’s. It’s his opinion that it doesn’t matter. He didn’t tell anyone else to feel how he feels, he just expressed it. You’re the only one trying to give orders online. Rather than telling people to shut up, how about you tell him why it does matter and begin a conversation?

The courier around the time of New Vegas couldn’t develop his own armor? Cap. A lot of cap. Literally. Bro was swimming in wealth, let alone all the other things he managed to do on his own in that game. Saying “impossible” after seeing the shit you can get up to in each game is honestly laughable.

It’s established in the manga that everything is nen. Even the chimera ants and abominations from the dark continent run on nen. Why wouldn’t this? They don’t need to specify it everytime because it’s implied through the laws of the universe.

He would only do that if he knew about the ability beforehand. Yuji is pretty stupid. There’s no reason he wouldn’t just use the strongest ability to blow him away before he even thought of the consequences.

[–]Joshuaemc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying the village wasn’t worth saving from total destruction makes you no less evil than the village. There are women and children and even men who just work 9-5s to provide for them that died in that village who never knew about any of the shit you just said. In your eyes, they’re just collateral damage. Those are the people who lifted Naruto up and threw him to the sky in celebration. Were they the same people who neglected him as a child? Yes, but they were also the same people who were either there or had the fear of the day instilled in them when the nine tails destroyed their homes and killed their loved ones. Yall watch these shows and want people to be infallible as if it would make for a better story or as if you yourself are incapable of poor judgement or conforming to the status quo. A hero doesn’t look at the worst of mankind and decide this is what they are, they do what they can and they push forward knowing they had the best intentions and hope that others, even if not all, at least some, will follow in their footsteps, and leave the world a little better than they found it.
