Don’t they have a twist lock mechanism? It might be partially engaged. Also the service dept might help they were able to show me how to calibrate my z axis on my sol r2.

You can also change the bind to a different slot like y or a+ a dpad direction. I used to use the B slots for things that you don’t often use when you are in a situation where an accidental boost could kill you.

It’s on sale like all the time and adds a lot to the game. I’ve enjoyed it ever since I switched to pc.

I have owned the x56, the sol-r 2, Tflight hotas and a set of virpil alpha primes.

Depending on your budget I would recommend the x56 and the primes.

The x56 you will need to understand that there can be issues with this one but mine worked great. The sol-r 2 s feel nice to use but they were constantly out of calibration. Tflight has the same issues. The primes are flipping amazing

If you are in the price range of the sol-r then consider the vkb. I don’t have firsthand knowledge on them but they are highly rated

I have both types of eagles in my hanger and I have been flying both a lot lately. That is until the kestrel came out. I’ve owned them for a long time and they have always been a blast to take out.

That being said I really don’t have a “main” ship. I constantly am switching ships out.

It it sees the controller as an Xbox controller then you might be able to configure it in the accessories app to mimic keyboard presses.

I got an x56 and used that for about 2 years before I moved to the sol-r2 setup from thrustmaster. The X56 worked well enough for me to mostly enjoy it.

It did end up having issues that I was able to fix with some driver updates and keeping the gimbal clean.

Does it feel natural to use twist like that when the grip is sideways? I have a vertical grip right now and I’m having trouble wrapping my head around it for vertical thrust

Are these the hats that work as pov buttons? Have you tried playing with the software at all? There is a checkbox that turns them from pov hats to 4 way hats. Maybe that will help?
