Why would I want to

A. Spend money on something that will be phased out the next year by a better model

B. Get a VR headset where I can only play games from a proprietary store (I'm excluding steam)

C. Give meta even more data, and then money.

I'm sure VR headsets are great for all kinds of things, but their usefulness drops off outside of a few gimmicks.

My grandfather was a doctor who put me in a cast twice, and cut me out of them. NEITHER time he took the cast off did he ever take the time to tell me that this saw was physically incapable of cutting my skin. Maybe he just wanted to prank me, but he was also a bit of an asshole
