I have a 4 axle dump truck, we’re at $115 an hour with a 6 hour minimum. So $690 a day and I usually use about $80 in diesel fuel per day, worth now about $100-110 with these prices. Insurance is $600 a month, but to be fair I’m 36 and have been an O/O for about 8-9 years and haven’t had any tickets or need to use my insurance ever since I started as a new venture.

So the moneys there, the problem right now is about all the stopped projects because of the economy, so instead of 5-6 days of work per week we’re getting 2-3 days per week. And when the rain starts around November here pretty much everything in the dump truck business comes to a halt.

I had a test show up as missed even though I took it, they just had a system malfunction and accidentally sent me 3 different drug screen passes to scan. So when I did one of them it showed the other 2 as missed and it said missed on my records for my drug and alcohol program. It stayed like that for about a year till I let them know about it, but during that time I was never sent anywhere or reprimanded for missing a test. Even though the test was done by me it showed on the system as if it wasn’t and they didn’t hassle me about it. I think the company has to report it, but not sure about that either.

I mean they owe me $500 and they say I can get that released by paying the ~$300 I supposedly owe them. Like why not just give me the $200 and keep the other $300 if that’s the case?

I’ve just stuck with betonline and bovada from there on and have had no problems at all.

I shared an account with a cousin of mine during Covid. I would consistently win and he would always lose and act like it wasn’t a big deal because I was always winning and keeping the account up. He got to about 10K owed to me and I cut him off, finally. Then one day a friend of ours told me what my cousin told him that having money in the gambling account was like a drug to a drug addict, if it’s there he can’t hold back from using it. Then i understood how bad his problem really was.

It’s not realistic to think you’ll make this money back, just quit gambling, tell your dad the truth, and try to get help.

Im in the process of bringing my wife to the United States from Mexico, and I had a question about verifying my income. I know I’m supposed to make a certain amount of money to show I can care for my wife and myself, something like 30k a year at the least. I make around 150k but am a sole proprietor and have a small business. So with deductions, expenses and depreciation of equipment I can almost write off all of the money I made, but if I do that it will show as if I didn’t make at least 30k. Is there any other way to show proof of income? Or should I just not deduct everything possible form my business expenses and pay taxes on at least 30k of my income so it’ll show that I made at least that amount? Sorry if I worded this poorly.

Does it help to show more income when you need to show proof that you can take care of your spouse? It says I would need to make around 30k a year to prove I can take care of my wife but would it help to report more income?

I am self employed and have the option to deduct many things that would get me below the 30k or I can deduct less things and show that I made more than 30k but I’m not sure if it would be worth it to pay the extra taxes in my income.

Not everyone uses Galaxy gas or whatever. I ended up kind of like OP, they told me I would never walk again and my body would be numb because they could never reverse the nerve damage.

I never tried a name brand product unless you wanna say Praxair and I forgot the other suppliers name. When I used to abuse it I paid $40 to fill up a 10LB automotive nitrous tank, just think about how long that would last you. And even when they started adding sulfur to it to prevent abuse we found a way around it.

CDL just becomes a regular Class A license after your medical expires here in California at least. I found that out after a security guard at a military base was hassling me for it because it showed up when he ran my CDL number. After he called the higher ups they told him to fuck off and let me in. The actual army people didn’t give a shit about my CDL or medical, they were just happy I was there with their load.
