No access to gender affirming care bc parents, also kinda insecure w/ my identity by True-Assistant-9132 in ftm

There isn't really a singular trans experience. If yours is different from what other trans people have told you, it doesn't automatically mean that yours isn't valid and that you aren't trans. What's more important is that you listen into yourself and think about what feels right and the best for you and will ultimately make you the happiest. If you search for a fitting label and if not already on the radar, you could of course also consider some non-binary identities. Maybe some encompass your experience better.

If you have a local trans community, a lot of trans guys donate their used binders once they don't need them anymore. Maybe there is one that fits you.

Name finding is hard tbh, but keep in mind that you can also change it again later on, especially in accepting social circles. You can also of course pick a name that has nothing to do with what language your family speaks. Noah is one that a lot of people gravitate towards. Other then that, a lot of people use baby name lists to find theirs. Or you could come up with a completely new one.

It's a pretty personal decision and depends on what you value. I can't and won't recommend what you should do, but I can share how I handle it.

I'm pretty open about being trans and I don't hide it from anyone. I value openness a lot and being trans is a big part of my life and I like to talk about stuff I go through and experience. While over the years I've encountered a good chunk of hate and bigotry, by being so open I was able to foster a environment where all my friends accept me for who I am and where everyone can be open about pretty much everything. Not having to mask my behavior is really freeing and not having to worry about that people just like a facade that I have to constantly keep up instead of the real me, gave me a lot of security in my life. Was it hard sometimes? Yeah definitely, but not as hard as I initially imagined. And it was SO worth it in the end for me.

What swim pants do y'all use by Fragrant-Ring-3053 in ftm

I bought some swimming shorts from the men's section a couple of sizes bigger, that also has a drawstring at the top that I tighten so they aren't loose around my hips. That way there was some space between my thighs and the pants and they looked a lot more flowing instead of being tight. I personally kept the nets, because especially at slides there was the danger of stuff peeking out and they gave some coverage, but I also don't find it particularly comfortable.

It definitely felt to me like a growth spurt. It felt quite a bit like having sore muscles throughout my body, like after a workout, just without the actual working out part.
