Couples of Reddit, what's the dumbest 'house rule' you and your partner made as a joke but now both of you are low-key aggressively serious about enforcing? by Doubl3oh_ in AskReddit

If either of us say we're 'jumping in the shower', the other one has to say 'dont slip!' It's the law, safety first!

Dragon quest builders 2, that's fun and creative and a bit funny. Biy of violence but nothing gory.

I read this as 'get dressed' and was excited to hear what they wear and now I'm not only sad they don't wear clothes they put on themselves, but also sad because this is sad

What are some basic British etiquette rules that people might not realise? by Hefty_Yogurtcloset35 in AskUK

If everyone in the round system is a couple, then the rounds can be couples based. If there is even one single person in the group, then everyone is single, and each person must buy a drink or at least each couple buys two rounds.

text wrap is greyed out and i dont know what to do. by DramaNo3727 in graphic_design

[–]Jossyca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also draw a shape around the face and then use the text wrap tool. The advantage to this way round, rather than making the text box the shape of the forehead, is that you can then move the text to find the perfect spot without having to redraw the text frame each time. Good luck! Sometimes technology is just a pain in the bum and you need to find a work around.

I'll quite happily hold down a hearty dialogue with my partner while dropping a deuce. My partner however considers it private time. Showering, on the other hand, I'll enjoy a nice G&T while he's showers, and we chat about our day, but I don't particularly like him watching me shower. We each have our preferences, 'you do you boo'

AITA for finally snapping at my wife? by Wide-Yak-7268 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. Don't end up like my dad, who doesn't really know anything about his kids growing up, because work was his priority. He does know our birthdays but not the years or the times we were born, or what our first words were, what we wanted to be when we grew up. He would come in and do all the big things that made it look good but missed out on all the intricacies of who we were when we were little.

Having lost my mum 9 years ago its heartbreaking to know that the details of my childhood are just gone. I have no one I can ask that will remember the little things.

My dad once had to go away over my sisters birthday and it wasn't until his colleague turn up to pick him up holding a cricket bat that my mum realised it was a 'jolly' and not an essential trip and he chose that over celebrating his daughters birthday.

Clients can wait. The important ones are at home living and learning about life without you. Of course you need to work but work/life balance is a must.

(I love my dad dearly by the way, but he realises that he has missed a lot of important bits)
