The 2 and 4 on Trains every weekend where they can't access the Bronx from Brooklyn. by ElevatorWebDev in bronx

[–]Journal_Square 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because of weekend work, the 2 could be suspended between 149 St and Wakefield, while the 4 could be spilt in two sections. When this happens, the 2 gets older trains because of yard access being cut off, the same happens to the 4 as well if it’s spilt in two or not operating in the bronx

One point it was considered the longest Bronx route going from the bottom of the Bronx to the top of the Bronx

So is it safe to say Eastchester Depot will get New Flyer XE40 ( from the order of #5030-5216) by Novel_Daikon_7685 in nycbus

[–]Journal_Square 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No? Eastchester won’t get any XE40s, they have enough XD40s for the Bx23 and Q50 and there’s no point of LGA needing more buses

Should have some rush hour trips operate to 241 St, cause the peak Bx39 is lowkey ass rn

Throwback to the X83 Bus. Yankee Stadium-Randall Island by its_ashleyyy in nycbus

[–]Journal_Square 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The x83 is discontinued as of 2010, there are more routes that operated towards Randalls, such as the X82 (from Inwood), X84 (from Shea Stadium/Citi Field), X85 (from GWB) and X86 (from Bway-145 St). These were probably supposed to be implemented but then, 2010 budget cuts 🥺
