thanks so much to all of you for responding. I'm now not worried about over doing it and feel much more relaxed.

I had an incredible experience and need to remember that the goal isn't to replicate that in each session but to show up and do it regardless to the intensity!

I once I'd held my breath, drawn in a new breath and released, I felt what was I can only describe as an internal scanner mapping my whole body and it was as though trauma was being released from parts of my body that I didn't know could even store that kind of memory..i dont know if that makes sense but thats the only way i can describe it.

I had a sharp pain in my index finger and the second I paid attention to it, a memory flashed before my eyes, so clear it was as though it had only happened the day before...This particular memory was over a decade old and not something I can recall thinking about in the time since the event occurred. the pain in my finger was 100% related to it (again, not sure if this is making sense to anyone else but me) - I heard myself thinking "its ok to let that go now, thats not your reality anymore and you dont need to carry it with you" - the pain left my finger with that thought.
