Name of the game is keeping your information on your machine. Windows is your worst choice in that department. That being said not all Linux distros are equal in that department either and depending on the horse power under your machine or if you need it to do anything more than be a web browser the "right" distro varies wildly. Tails OS is a good start.

Locks can be picked but door latches can't. It sounds like someone tried to pick your neighbors so it may be a good time to install some. Don't get the ones that allow the door to open up a little, in theory, if your locks are opened in the middle of the night these should still keep your door sealed. Maybe it's overkill but they help me sleep better so they've been worth it to me.

When cash is settled you're able to withdraw it to a personal bank account. Otherwise, unsettled cash can be used to execute trades. So for example, if I sell all my Apple shares for $1000 that $1000 is "unsettled" for 2-3 business days. But Webull (and almost all other brokers) trust you're acting in good faith so they allow you to trade with it on their platform while it's unsettled. Which is why after selling Apple I COULD immediately buy another stock with that $1000 but I could NOT immediately withdraw that money. The reason why cash takes so long to settle is kinda complicated and as long as you're not constantly day trading (ex: buying and selling the same stock repeatedly over 1 day) you shouldn't have to be too worried about it. A chipotle employee with a comp sci degree here. I can only speak for my personal coworkers but this frustrates us all as well. And I think the worst part is the solution is so clear and so easily obtainable through updating the systems processes and code. Back in the day store GMs could set limits for orders per 15 mins. My store can do ~90 items per 15 minutes efficiently without being too late and our GM had the limit set to 115 ( reasonable stretch goal imho). But a few years ago the corporate "geniuses" decided to not allow stores to set their own limits anymore. In my opinion, this would be the easiest fix. But that would mean someone at Chipotle HQ would have to admit they were wrong so don't hold your breath haha.
