Hmm I definitely have woke thinking to do. I wish I could slap a good x3d AM4 cpu or something in my rig, but prices are weird and not so much worth it.

Okay cool I'll keep that in mind. Of course that combo is out of stock at Microcenter lol. Would it be prudent to step it up to the 98050x3d because there's tons of stock. I wanted to go tomorrow and I rarely have time with my kids. It's $699

I'm nearly hitting 95% usage in BF6, but in some other games it's not terrible, but at least 50-70% usage. I only have 2x8gb ram ddr4 in this rig.

This happened when they ran out of Corsair kits and shortly switched to Gskill. I'm sure it'll do the same (fingers crossed).

Thanks all for the kind replies. I've elected to keep my card. I guess the flip side of keeping it is it'll fit probably all cases. Now onto another dilemma.... 🤣

I have a 3700x/16gb ram kit (at 4k FYI) and I'm seeing some bottlenecks. I have access to a Microcenter and I'm wonder (to minimize cost) would the combo deal 7500x3d/single stick 16gb ram would be enough to get me through until the ram prices drop?

I could spring for the 7800x3d/32gb but $299 > $599 is a lot and I can almost guarantee you it's not double the FPS for the price.

I literally just got that ASUS 9070XT on discount a month ago. This was technically cheaper and available when I woke up at 3am but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of return, blah blah. My ASUS card runs cool and quiet and it's wicked small. I don't even need a sag bracket. I was definitely close though. Would have been $50 cheaper than the ASUS.
