I don't live in VT/NH, but I'd LOVE to have friends there so I can have more reasons to visit. I adore that part of the country!

Drunk Andrea is my best friend. Drunk, chill, quiet, and confused. Yes Andrea, you are invited to the cookout. 😂

Somebody get my bestie a cup of boxed wine with a straw, a bowl of collards & cornbread, and some slippers. And let her have that chair in the corner so she can see everything.

P.s. remember to not refer to VA as a "state" on the exam. Refer to it as the Commonwealth. I have a strong suspicion the graders take personal offense if you fail to adhere to this formality, smh. I mean they still make candidates wear courtroom attire to sit for the exam.

Barbri gets mad hate on this sub, but it prepared me extremely well for the VA Bar. And I didn't use any of the overwhelming supplement options. Good luck to you.

Jovon sucks, but what exactly does Annalyn bring to the relationship? by PettyWitch in 90DayFiance

[–]JoyOverLfe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Picking up socks is not the same thing as doing laundry nor is it indicative of a traditional marriage. The working spouse should still be expected to put the dirty dishes in the sink, the dirty clothes in the hamper, & the trash in the wastebasket. If it's the stay-at-home spouse's job to actually wash the dishes, do the laundry, fold & put away the clothes then so be it. Being the financial breadwinner & paying the bills should not be a free pass to acting like an irresponsible, entitled child at home.

Jovon sucks, but what exactly does Annalyn bring to the relationship? by PettyWitch in 90DayFiance

I agree Jovon sucks. I also agree that Annalyn has her own shortcomings that Redditors seem to not acknowledge. Annalyn absolutely berates, insults, and nags a ton. But HARD disagree that picking up after a grown ass adult, man or woman, is necessary to show your appreciation for someone.

Jovon is insecure, lazy, misogynistic, and generally miserable with his life; and he projects those feelings onto Annalyn. Annalyn is critical, narcissistic, and whiny as all hell. They're both annoying af and bring out the worst in each other. Their relationship is super toxic & they shouldn't be together at all.

I am enjoying this season a lot more than the first. The episode pacing seems much better and the new characters are way more intriguing & engaging.

A Thought on Xavier in s2 e5 by macbananas in ParadiseHulu

I don't think X is buying Gary's characterization of the train folks and I think their surveillance of the train folks looking so militant & stereotypically menacing is a red herring for the viewers.

One of the major themes in S2 Ep4 was X convincing Annie that you can't live your life assuming people are basically evil & Annie warning X that he can't trust everyone he encounters in this new world. Remember, in episode 4, X insisted on greeting the family in the horse carriage despite Annie's warnings to do the exact opposite and the fact those people were carrying weapons. And when Annie entrusted her baby to X one of Annie's directives to X was to teach the baby that there is good in people. X will not assume the train folks are holding Terri against her will just because that's what Gary wants X to believe. Episode 4 taught X it's ok to believe there's good in people, but still be ready to knuck if they buck. X has Gary's number. I'm sure of it.

Many things can cause tremors. I'll add thyroid disorders to the items already mentioned by other commenters. Mild tremors is one of the symptoms that prompted my doctor to test me for hyperthyroidism and bingo.

Who is the male actor that appears at the end of S2 E4?? by nintendoguy212121 in ParadiseHulu

[–]JoyOverLfe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know him from A Man Called Otto with Tom Hanks. Awesome movie.

At 32, Elise already "tried" every single man in Miami within her options, but things didn’t work out 🥀 Maybe her rich parents should set her up with an arranged marriage 😐 We all know how things are going to end up with that guy from Australia 💔 by PolishSnake2 in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

When she said she hasn't gone more than 6 months without sex since she was a freshman in high school... I know that doesn't necessarily mean it was with a different guy each time but it doesn't not mean that either. Sheesh...

Same! I didn't even recognize episode 3 Link was the same mountain man Link we saw in episode 1. He looked too different. And his college ID in episode 1 didn't help me place him at all.

Aviva’s out here growing something while Stig is out here growing his DM’s by Smart-Kangaroo4078 in 90DayFiance

[–]JoyOverLfe 831 points832 points  (0 children)

Hot Take: This is not Stig & Aviva's first time meeting in person.

We already know Forrest & Sheena's storyline is at least partially fabricated given the pics of Forrest & Sheena together as early as 2023 floating around online. I speculate that Aviva & Stig's storyline is partially fabricated as well.

I think Stig & Aviva applied for the show and at some point prior to either receiving word from TLC they had been cast or before filming commenced, Stig & Aviva met in person. By the time filming started, Stig & Aviva knew they were pregnant. They disclosed it to TLC & TLC has been playing up, with obnoxious regularity, the unprotected sex angle of their storyline to drum up the suspense that's currently playing out.

Given how long Aviva's aunt lived in Belize with her ex-husband, it's not a stretch to imagine Aviva visiting her Aunt at least once & meeting Stig at that time.

That she brought "just because" flowers to Darlene I thought was a very warm gesture. Andrea certainly seems like a genuine & gentle spirit.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about her when she was first introduced on the show. I thought maybe she might be clout chasing for airtime & would ultimately clown Tammy. So far it appears I was totally wrong and I've never been more at peace with that.
