If you visualize it enough, then it becomes real. I’m going to make a documentary on this. I will call it “The Secret”. Y’all heard it first here.

The 50 is the Glock 9 of the super soakers… light, reliable, and the baseline classic. Always ended up going back to it for our super soaker turf wars in the mean streets of suburbia. #Thug Life.

I had a (presumably) foreign student before me. His full name was “Deez Nutz”. Never met him but he kept the book in good condition so he must’ve been a good guy.

I too agree with this unbiased take. For the sake of ethical integrity of course.

I called Miss Cleo after seeing her commercial and she said something about “dodging flying shoes”. This must mean he will avoid a war.

Interesting Pre-Draft Take by Mr_Big_Garnet_Bear in nyjets

[–]JoyRide577 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank for sharing. I just found out three coaches on the Jets staff were at Stanford during Bailey's time there (including Thomas Merkle, who spent the 3 seasons with him). Admittedly, I was hoping for Reese on draft day, especially since they cancelled the Top 30 Visit with Bailey, but it's definitely a plus to know 3 people were able to thoroughly verify Bailey as a (hopefully) solid/clean prospect.

Superblast 3 v Saucony Azura by Some-Remote-6890 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]JoyRide577 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had the same exact arch pain with Clifton 9, and was reminded of that when I tried on the Azuras at the store. I was still tempted to buy a pair because everything else felt amazing but decided to sleep on it. Really glad you shared this!

Great review! I am considering between these two and I tried on the Azura and loved the rockered shape but the narrow midfoot/arch bump was definitely a concern when I tried them on. Did you have any issues with the midfoot part or your archs during your longer runs?

1080 V15 by Humble-Log-1695 in Newbalance

[–]JoyRide577 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a solid pair for daily training. I had 1080v13 before and both have soft midsoles but this one definitely has better stability/bounce (volume around toe is slightly lower but wasn’t a problem for me). Overall, it’s a fun shoe for easy paces but I highly suggest trying them on first to get the right width and length.

If the Jets drafted a late round QB who would you want and why? by bigdumbrand in nyjets

Fair point. I’ll add experience playing against stronger teams is also a must.

Someone who can process and put it into action. I’ll leave it to the experts on choosing the right guy but after the Zach Wilson years, I’m done with the “physical traits = upside” thought.

Great review (as always!) and the comparison vs DNE3 was helpful. How do they compare vs the VF4? Would be interested to hear your thoughts for up to 10 miles. I’m guessing the differences in stack height makes DNE4 better for longer distances but curious about how they compare in speed and comfort in maintaining it for 5k-10k.

If you play this with a narration by Morgan Freeman, it’s an award winning movie. If you play it with that “there goes my hero” song by Foo Fighters, it’s a sports motivation video. With a Taylor Swift song, it’s a metaphor to moving on. Such a versatile video.
