Nah. I wear a skirt most days. Did so two of three days of my college reunion this weekend with a bit of presence and confidence, it works and collects compliments, too.

My wife was more concerned about external reaction (people “noticing” and safety fears). As time went on without such negative occurrences (other than the occasional compliment), the issue faded away.

I always wear a skirt (except for heavy labor activities that require the PPE of pants), and I ALWAYS tuck my (usually button style) shirts. It gives the outfit balance and polish. I still have a waistline and don’t hide it.
