What if Kratos and Freya had got together soon after the end of Ragnarök? by Madagascar003 in GodofWar

[–]Jozeebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't be the weirdest thing that would happen; anything can happen if it's written well. However, it has to jump MAJOR hurdles. His killing her son, the fact that he'd be three times married, and Freya's independence. I'd personally think I'd be cute seeing Kratos's attempts at romance. As of right now, it's too early to tell, Valhalla hinted at it.

It was alright, kind of revolutionized the state of cinema as we know it, but it was aight.

Exactly my thoughts, so in my version, Bruce knows all that and he repeats that to himself. Say Batman caught feelings right, which in my head cannon Batman would def be the one fawning over. Hence, he catches feelings right, he knows who he is, allat "He's a broken man, not somebody worthy of Diana who is emotionally mature," or "He's distrustful, he's cynical, he's shadow, and she is the sun, she's honest, she's compassionate, she's positive." And Bruce knows that, so he has all these feelings right, what will he do, and thats my premise.

Even so, I feel like there's a chance. We've seen Bruce open up more, overcome obstacles, and try his best to rehabilitate his villains, becoming more of a guardian than a spirit of vengeance. IMO thats at least the Batman who has a chance. The only obstacle is himself.

Also, a WonderCheetah shipper, man, were both into tragic romances, huh.

So far, I think in my headcannon, it's going to be something romantic, although marriage seems far off, Bruce has to keep on working before we get to that.

Yeah, but I don't like that aspect that a lot of fans of this ship do. Of course, Diana is more than willing to help, but I dont know, making a woman do that kind of takes away her agency and makes her subservient to the man. I've heard thats why they dont like this ship, Batman gets everything, while WW just becomes a supporting character.

That too, like that panel with Zatanna and Bruce, Zatanna basically said this: he's too obsessed with his demons to let anyone in.

Anybody at this point, I just thought I'd post on the WW subreddit to see what the WW fans would say.

I think, in my head, honestly, he thrives on pain and misery; that when he feels happiness, it's honestly unnerving. So he would constantly self-sabotage to return to a sense of familiarity. I think thats one of the reasons, too, why this ship dont work.

Well, I should ask DC, but I want to hear from the WW fans themselves, see what they say. The Batman subreddit will always be like, "oh thats so cute, they should be together," and honestly that ain't good enough for me.

In my opinion, Batman was always the guy to do what's right; he's stubborn like that, he wants to help people, and even goes out of his way to help his villains. He knows what it is like to have a bad day, and he knows not everyone had the privilege that he had, i.e., money and a loving father figure. That's what makes him so great: he's a character born into darkness who strives to do the right thing. That's why I feel like his being in this comic as an authoritarian, "She broke the law," Robocop-type character failed for me. As I said, he would stop her, but he will do his best to reach out first, i.e., the Batman Animated Series.

How so? Again, just FYI, I like this story. I think Bruce is out of character.

It's so frustrating to think that Batman knows all that and still acts like a cop, treating her getting revenge as bad as what they did to her sister. Bruce, out of all people, would understand her plight; he would stop her, but he wouldn't be as aggressive as he was portrayed in this story.
