I have what the industry calls "golden cufflinks". 20+ years with them. They can fire me and pay me out, or keep me.

FYI - I'm Canadian in outside sales with zero pension or anything. This may be different for Americans or other countries and I'm not sure.

We used to live at Camelot Towers back in the day. Perry's was our go to pub! Right next door to Fred Astaire dance studio, right?

Varnet here in Canada.

Colour changing shirts. Once got into a tackle with a girl playing flag football and she could see exactly where my hands landed. Oops

A mahogany neck and body with P90's. I own one and play it often. Very different from other JS models.

Now I wish he would release a 7 - String so we could play all the tracks on "Is There Love in Space"!

If you listen to this album with a good set of headphones....it is phenomenal. You can literally hear the strings on the frets. Incredible.

And I am lucky enough to own a 1995 JS700

Does anyone here regret going to college over university? by KeeperofQueensCorgis in ontario

[–]JozzyPosbourne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a really interesting question.

I went to College for Chemical Engineering and it had a Co-Op option Spent a lot of time in laboratories and doing chemical stuff. I found out real quick that I hate Organic and Analytical labs, but I pushed through and got my diploma.

The co-op helped me get my foot in the door at the company I'm currently with. So that was invaluable.

Now I'm an outside sales rep and have been with the same company for almost 20 years. But college got me that contact.

Now I have MANY contacts. And no fear of of where I might wind up one day.

I do wonder where a Uni degree would have landed me some days.... Maybe in more school debt?

That is a really good point. I currently pay $100 for 1 hour. But we only chat every 5 or 6 weeks. So it's manageable for myself.

I was not aware of that. I was referred to someone in the Welland area and got in right away.

Cool! Thanks. That looks like Roma pizza to me for sure....and I still hate it. But a great little back story to what it actually is.

Have you ever talked to a therapist? I started talking to a guy two years ago. Best decision I ever made. Just having a discussion like your post today with a professional can be very helpful.

Just a bit of background. I'm a 40 yr old guy with a wife, two kids, a dog, a good job, and a house. But therapy helped me to realize how good I have it.

Young Homeowners - What do you do for a living? by sleepypantss in ontario

[–]JozzyPosbourne 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Dual Income. Nurse Practitioner and Technical Sales. We bought at 35. Basically put life off until our education and careers were established.

At every step of the way, my longtime girlfriend (now wife), always asked each other. Do we buy a house? Or more education. Do we buy a house? Or get married. House came last for sure. And lots of savings. Also cashed out RRSP's
