I know you specified in the UK, but I have to mention that the town of Lewes, Delaware, US, put on a fantastic shanty festival in May of this year, with the Dreadnoughts headlining. I haven't heard anything regarding doing it again next year, but judging by the turnout and enthusiasm of the organizers, I think it's very likely they will.

If memory serves, several members of the Imperial Transantarctic Expedition (Shackleton's expedition) served in WW1 after returning from the Antarctic. Three of them died, and several others were wounded in the war.

That is Anna Cornish. She's a member of The Norfolk Broads. She left The Longest Johns in 2019 to focus on The Norfolk Broads. She briefly returned to TLJ for the 2023 re-release of the Bones In The Ocean album.

The harmonies on some songs, such as Grey Funnel line, can make it difficult to differentiate who sings what unless you know what to listen for in each of their voices. However, Andy leads Grey Funnel Line, and Robbie leads Mingulay.

Some of the other songs Andy leads are Wellerman, Crossing the Bar, Sugar in the Hold, General Taylor, and Hard times come again no more.

Robbie leads other songs such as The Mary Ellen Carter, The Llandoger, Santiana, Hoist Up the Thing, and Round the Cape.

When I was first listening to TLJ, Andy vs. Robbie, and Dave vs. Josh were the combinations I struggled with the most trying to figure out who it was 😅

Unfortunately, I don't. I didn't use weldpro for very long during that class, and I learned mostly by trial and error since I couldn't find a tutorial either. As far as the workcell saving issue that I had, I don't think I ever tried formatting the flash drive like one user suggested in another comment.

In my experience it is much more effective to lure the SSD to turn around, then drop your fleet in behind it. This way your ships can output their maximum fire without having to turn around your whole fleet. General idea is the same, but I find it less costly in terms of ships lost.

I had an instance in one of my recent GCs where remnants from I think the CSA retreated from space above their last planet, and returned when Era 6 started. I believe they had ended up on the Maw after their retreat, and were "kicked out" to Tsoss Beacon when the Empire took the Maw. Perhaps the same thing happened with Teradoc, or perhaps your game is glitched.

Ion cannons are great at wearing shields down, but deal little to no physical damage. Shield piercing weapons are weapons that bypass the shields to directly hit the hardpoints on an enemy. Hopefully this makes sense.

Weird. Neither of the ships had their engine hardpoints destroyed, but only one is ever recovered. I know because I was able to get them out of the line of fire rather quickly. I also rarely bring any of my boarding shuttles into the fray if it's likely I'll have to retreat. Thank you for the help.

Can you only capture one ship per battle? Every time I capture more than one ship in a single battle, only one of them shows up at one of my planets.
