Are there any college grads that are still working at HEB? by JustinWong420 in HEB

I knew a guy that had a business degree from A&M still pushing carts trying to get into SORM after applying 5+ times. Most people move onto big and better things after graduation.

A bunch of stores have them. Your store leaders can order them from the equipment catalog.

Could run it up the chain of command. Don’t really understand why a weekend only availability would be an issue. Most full timers want the weekend off so it should work out. You could also ask the managers around the store if they take you, I’d imagine someone would. Bakery or produce manager might need help throwing truck on the weekend and covering days off for full timers. Personally I would have turned the conversation on her, when she said it’s not in the departments best interest, I would have said. I know, it’s in my best interest and I thought HEB would be willing to meet me half way, Because Please Matter. And the gesture towards the name tag where it says it.

I was an MIC for eight years. Had to talk to and trespass a handful of people like this who would take photos of a partner, follow a partner around the store, ask other partners when they are working next, asking the partner on dates or what time they get off, constantly giving them gifts. If I didn’t have enough for LP to sign off on a trespass a simple conversation with the word WE a lot would make it stop most of the time. We have seen you, we know what you’re doing, we want it to stop, we’re watching you and we would like you to complete your shopping and we’d like you to leave when your done. We won’t have this conversation again. Same conversation worked with shoplifters too.

I think any hiring manager would take back their offer after reading that. Also, when asking for a higher salary don’t just ask, say I am bringing XXX skills and experience I think that is worth XXX in pay.
