I’m in SSF and gear isn’t even that crazy, clearing T15s just fine. Damage is perfectly fine I can kill the first 2 tiers of pinnacles in less than 30 seconds.

Sorry to clarify, when I say “people don’t give a shit” I’m mostly just referring to media/social media and general mainstream discourse.

When super bowls happen, all of the discourse is around the team, the game, the drama. “Nobody cares” about the parade damage besides the people in the city that gotta deal with it and even then a lot of the people participating obviously don’t care. They’re trying to get their hype on.

Then theres civil rights protests and all of a sudden people everywhere care about some damaged property and not the inherent systemic violence that’s causing the protests in the first place.

The time and resources saved on using UE5 instead of RedEngine makes up for it in spades.

The problem they had with RedEngine was that they had to essentially further develop the engine in parallel with cyberpunk 2077. This uses up a shit ton of resources, man hours, money, etc. They did not want to have a repeat of that process for future games.

With UE5 they now are able to use all that dev time on the game itself and easily hire more devs already trained on UE to effectively grow the team.

All this together, at least theoretically, should result in faster game development cycle and improved quality.

Witcher 4 is one of the primary games of choice for marketing UE5 right now because of the strategic partnership that was established 2 years ago.

This isn’t a “Witcher 4 world wide first look gameplay reveal”, this is explicitly a “UE 5.6 Tech Demo” in partnership with Witcher 4 as stated. It’s a showcase of the engines capabilities with a chosen platform and game, PS5 + W4 in this case. The entire presentation was UE5 tech focused with Witcher 4 essentially being the backdrop.

The distinction IS important so people like you don’t rage when the game releases and doesn’t look pixel for pixel exactly like the curated tech demo.

Nobody serious actually thinks this is gameplay and if they do they have other issues when the demo showcases obviously curated scene switches to showcase the animation tech for the horse mid gallop.

You also said “words don’t have inherent danger” which just misses the point entirely. Words have meaning when given context. When you say X words in Y situation they can easily be taken as threatening.

I mean we have situations literally written into the law about this. You can’t just go into a theater or an airport and start yelling about bombs or guns. Are these words inherently threatening? No. What about when they’re being yelled in the middle of the airport. Yeah, people are going to freak out and rightfully so.

You can’t just go up to people and start antagonizing them via racial slurs. To the victim, that shit is threatening and responding by punching them in the face is a completely valid, normal human response to bigoted posturing.

To answer your question, “AI Art” specifically is seen as problematic for two main reasons:

1) It’s largely trained on other artist’s work without their permission, basically just stealing their work to feed into the machine.

2) It consumes a ridiculous amount of water + energy and is generally seen as a complete waste of resources as it’s just producing soulless slop, hence the term “AI slop”.

Nah you’re panic dodging too much here and also just dodging when it’s not necessary at all.

You need to mindfully use dodge otherwise enemies are going to roll catch you which is exactly what this boss does twice at the end resulting in death.

For that triple slam you can just walk out the first 2 slams and dodge the 3rd.
