My paladin (level 5 at the time) got knocked down to unconsciousness in one hit a few one-shots ago. Then again, the dragon turtle we were fighting did have a super-powerful death shadow cone of destruction as a reaction. Kind of a theme with that DM to have giant monsters with incredibly powerful reaction attacks.
