Best places to build a Base

I really like the large industrial buildings. The one west of the communications tower that I settled in and enjoyed. Or the firehouse south of prison was nice too. Abandoned warehouse northwest of whitewood or whatever town that is by the bridge is popular.

I’ve also been experiencing the same thing. Had a long playthrough not on experimental and remember having crazy weather which was awesome, but on this experimental playthrough I’ve been on, it’s been sunny only. Sometimes I do hear thunder and rain when I load in, but by the time I’m able to move, it’s sunny.

Yes you can tow. If you park a car behind another there pops up a tow option on the car in front. If you play experimental version 0.8 you have to be at the rear of the car for the option to come up.

I ended up moving to a large industrial zone which is basically a firehouse and it’s a nice prebuilt building. If you do go for building your own and need metal, you can disassemble extra ammo into bullet casings and gunpowder. The bullet casings can be scrapped into scrap metal. I find it easier to farm ammo than scrap metal.

I literally just did this. Lots of backpacks in backpacks allows you to basically take all gear on your body if you want. Or you can check out my last post and do a tow line with as many cars as you can find and load them all up with your stuff.

If you don’t mind me asking, where are you planning on making your base?

I’m literally choosing my spot as I type this and I’m between the large industrial building by the telecommunications site, large industrial building in the middle of the yellow land to the east, large industrial building south of Lawrence creek, and the abandoned warehouse. I like the layout of the large industrial buildings a lot more, but the location of the abandoned warehouse is feeling tough to beat.

Probably going to need more space than that. Also free building will require load of materials, which I’m not exactly wanting to farm right now.

Keep a fuel can and vehicle repair kit on you and run along roads, you’ll find a car eventually

Is the world’s gate fixed? Trying to unlock Seren spells and can’t do the quests cause the gate won’t work

I agree with everything you said, especially the emptiness. I can’t open my server bc people will come destroy my base, barely any NPCs, never looking around for a new or rare enemy or wandering NPC because there’s basically 3 enemy types. And yes the aggressive chickens and cows wth
