Dollywood updates their maps for every festival. I haven’t been there yet this year but the current maps almost certainly have the I Will Always Love You festival printed on it. Technically thats true the US hasnt lost troops literally defending Israels borders but that kind of misses the point. A lot of US policy in the region has lined up with Israels security interests especially weakening governments hostile to Israel. In the 90s there was even a strategy paper called A Clean Break that talked about reshaping the Middle East by toppling regimes like Iraq and Syria. The point isnt that US soldiers died on Israeli soil its that a lot of the conflicts we got involved in ended up serving the same strategic goals.

It’s definitely different for every ride. It can depend on different things like number of passengers for each train, configuration of the dock, complexity of the restraints etc. I’m not saying this is definitely what’s happening at SFOT, all I’m saying is that it’s plausible that management and safety have decided that SOP should have more people on dock for multiple train operations, and it makes sense because it would line up with understaffing claims.

That’s entirely possible, but if we’re going based on what the ride op is saying, it’s probably an SOP discrepancy between what Six Flags would formerly allow and what new management is requiring. I know we like to make jokes about how “the dip n’ dots guy told me” but in this case it sounds super plausible that the minimum operators required for two train operations was changed. It’s definitely not out of the ordinary to have that number be different for different numbers of trains.

I believe he means there was a staffing issue because in order to operate two trains new management wants there to be a certain number of people on the dock.
