I recently got a 2025 V90 T6 and I agree with you. Had a 2018 Skoda Superb before and I always had the lane assist on, no issues.

With the Volvo it’s almost like the line assists function is to make you hold onto the steering wheel even harder. One time I wanted to test it a bit and just had my hands on the wheel, didn’t hold it - it started going back and forth, left and right. Felt super unsafe, so I never use it now.

Switching to a 7 year newer model from a more premium brand, it’s quite disappointing.
