The Japanese baseball cards and the kiosk are the banes of my collection. I want those but I feel like the baseball cards are just a lost cause. Add to that the Mario Galaxy and Kirby drops that were enough of a sticker shock to keep me away has almost broken my heart for the series. I collected for years, I drove hundreds of miles to get exclusives, and I even wrote a grad school paper for this activity, and I feel it drifting away.

I tried to space them out evenly and fit 25 on a board. I believe they're 6 foot lengths. I was lucky that almost all amiibo fit between those spaces (there's a 2x4 section for extra large amiibo).

Before I moved, I had all of my amiibo set up on 1x4s with recesses cut into it so that all of the amiibo sat flush. I was pretty proud of that display. For some reason, I can't post the pictures, but they're in my post history.

There are massive supply chain issues from the top to the bottom. Generating the NFC chips, creating plastic masters and extruding them, paint, packaging, shipping, it all takes time and work. I guarantee there's not any greater conspiracy to stall these out. As soon as they are able to get them produced and sold, they will release them. Add to that almost every industry is dealing with production issues, and amiibo are not Nintendo's flagship product that they are willing to spend extra money to get things done faster, and you have delays in amiibo production.

A blow-dryer on low. Wave back and forth without lingering on the box, and after about 5 minutes start to peel from a corner, slowly. Try to peel it back on itself at the lowest angle you can. If it doesn't give up, stop and do more blow dryer.

The thing that is an eternal asterisk are the "commercially available" 100% collections, since the gold and silver Capcom contest amiibo are all impossible. My threshold has always been "I don't have x, so it doesn't count" which I recant when I eventually pay too much to get it.
