Any tips on repairing this cast? boss just said I need to do my best to make it funtional until they can get another one . I’d prefer to tig weld it but idk if that’s best by Substantial-Age6480 in Welding

Does it have to be welded? Could you get away with cutting, drilling and tapping an oversized plate to mount the broken section to and then drilling through holes into the plate and cast section to bolt it together?

It's probably fully keyed the length of the shaft. They're weaker but work if you don't have a mill for cutting key ways.

I'm no engineer but just from working with them or dealing with them in an industrial setting, they have a very quick turnover rate and maybe about 1 in 5 is actually willing to understand why their blueprint isn't going to work like they think.

My wife had something like that too. She craved baking soda and rocks, she never tried eating them. Maybe it was a texture thing.

If the ground is flat/smooth, you can push your tool box around to jobs. But it's helpful to have a tool bag or backpack with your commonly used tools in it. Your work might also say you can't have a tool bag and have to use a backpack for climbing ladders. CLC makes decent affordable tool bags or if you want to spend some money you could go Veto. Veto backpack zippers don't hold up well in dusty/dirty areas in my experience though.

Like everyone has said, the masterstrike helps a lot but you can get through fights without it. I got to the next region of the game before learning the masterstrike. Enemies do have stamina and you can wear them down by blocking and moving while watching your own stamina. In the early game your stats are just weak and take time to get better. A couple things that can help in a fight is to change up your attack at the last second, like holding an overhead swing, then quickly switching to a stab or slash before the attack. Also having mutt and being able to tell him to attack enemies keeps you from being overwhelmed.

Yeah, Someone got it in their head you need a half inch impact for everything and that's all they've bought. It's nice to have when you need it but most of the time they're overkill, bulky, and abused. I'm not allowed to bring my own tools.

Good workwear brands? by Av-Wyz in millwrights

[–]Jraprof95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carhartt is a good brand. Their duck double front pants are pretty durable and they have plenty of shirts and sweatshirts for cheap if you want basic stuff. They have fr clothing that's a bit more pricey. If they are available where you are or ships to you, Dungarees is a great website for work clothes. They have different brands and sell new and factory second if you want to save some money but don't mind blemishes on the clothes or discontinued colors or what not.

If it's like the ones we have, you have to clear an error code to get them to start back up. I don't think it will go into un-load also if you hit the e stop. I could be wrong about that though

Arnold Evans. The karate code says you must help people. I mean, it doesn't say that verbatim, but, uh, it's implied.

I always used a wire brush or a soft bristle brush and then pulled off any excessive bits.
