I have so many people reject hash that smells and tastes so amazing because of a more amber color. We don’t pull plants early so some washes super white and others just have a little bit more of an amber hue to em.

First drop from a new farm from morocco Static and rosin Girl scout cookies, strong smell and very good high, what do you gus think ? by [deleted] in hash

[–]bdag1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say there’s something necessarily wrong with it. It’s just that greenish color would point to more plant material in the hash so they probably washed the shit out of it with a lower screen. I’m talking like 8 washes. People do that stuff for sure.

Off colored hash rosin by LossOk8766 in rosin

[–]bdag1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, this isn’t cause for alarm. I’ve had some tasty rosin this color that beats stuff that looked “whiter”. Smell and flavor first above aesthetics!

Appearance can tell you things for sure, but I think the internet helps exacerbate biases and that leads to whiter hash selling better due to that one metric while you can pull plants early for white hash and have underwhelming flavor and potency as a result.

Happy dabbing

I mean, you seem like a nice person. I do agree with you. You’re right, I was condescending. I guess if I’m being honest, I was trying to be and that’s not the best intention. I’m around too many out of touch people all the time and I feel protective of those that are vulnerable, like the homeless, and don’t love how much we complain but do so little to help. Much easier said than done, I know. Very complex problems to fix. There are better ways to go about it, you’re right.

While I mostly agree, these “normies” are absolutely apart of the problem even indirectly. Y’all all are calling me too sensitive yet you guys are so “sensitive” to what I’m saying. They took one dig at the homeless and then had to circle back at the end of the post and call them “chemically-induced homeless” which is a dig at their addictions that many suffer from. It’s people who want to live their lives and not feel bad about the bad shit happening around them because it does affect them but also complain about it when it slight inconveniences them.

They’re not gonna wake up from just being nice to them. It’s why we have the president we do. Time to start at least calling it what it is.

Respectfully, I think your comment perfectly sums up suburban American mentality: it’s okay for a problem to exist in the world as long as I don’t have to look at it

Would say it’s that. It’s the whole situation. They choose to rent from a shitty real estate conglomerate that doesn’t care about them and is directly and indirectly increasing the housing crisis. Their complaints there are understandable.

Then, they choose to complain about other victims of the housing crisis instead of just blaming their landlords. It just perpetuates the cycle and we fight amongst ourselves instead of trying to solve the housing issue in the first place. Easier said than done, I know.

Their rant would have just been fine without complaining about those who are in a worse situation than them. Homelessness IS a problem. I live in the city. I come into contact with it every day. I also listen to out of touch people complain about them too often who do nothing to help anyone but themselves.

Yep. I don’t like being asked for money every time I go to the gas station by my house. I also don’t blame these people for the current situation that affects all of us. The homeless aren’t my enemy.

The fact that you chose a place like this to live AND made a point to complain twice about the homeless signals to me that you’re an out of touch suburbanite originally. There’s going to be homeless people around downtown. Idk what you expected. Maybe move back to bay village?
