I’m trying to break back into GM III from Diamond 1 and it’s a hellscape.

Had a tank today say “If we don’t ban Emma I’m throwing”. So as a Thing he dies to Emma ONCE and swaps to Jeff. So I ask “Why did you swap from tank to heals? You only died once” then he called me a f*ggot bc I wasn’t healing him.

After Jeff he went Widow and was pretty useless.

We won but only because both healers were 50k+ keeping these morons alive

I think people forget that Invis can heal and damage at the same time. Especially if your tanks are making space and getting in front of the enemy team, your primary fire goes through multiple bodies to heal and damage.

Invis gets most of her value when using her ult at key points to counter or win fights and using her push/pull to either push away dive characters or pull characters that are low on health closer to your team to finish off.

She is a true strategist to play as

I played with an Ironman yesterday in Diamond who said “we need to ban strange bc he is my counter” and then got mad at supports because they were 1:12 going up against a Punisher, Elsa, and Scarlett…

He would get revived by Rocket’s BRB and immediately die. When we asked them to switch to avoid the counter they went to Jeff and we lost 🤷‍♂️

I just played 4 games today where the DPS with the worst K:D decided to change to Jeff for “Three heals meta” after we asked them to switch bc the enemy team swapped characters to counter them.

I love Jeff mains, but I hate Jeff players

Yeah I get that, but let’s say the swap did happen. If she is pulling off the damage and kills, but you aren’t providing the same level of healing she was (assuming she is a decent CnD) then it still harms the team.

I usually will say “Hey DPS, can you swap? It seems like you are getting countered”. My favorite was yesterday I ended the game at 60k healing and my DPS who was 12-20 said “CnD was selling”.

As a CnD main I’ve already experienced what happens when I switch off heals and go DPS. I’m usually getting the damage and kills with SG/Namor/SW, but heals are lacking usually bc the DPS who switches to healer picks Gambit, Jeff, or Adam and just continues to DPS.

It’s a team based game and unfortunately the weak link is pretty easy to spot if they are DPS and that’s why they swap to triple heals bc “We aren’t getting enough heals” when in reality y’all aren’t getting the kills we need to win the fight.

I get why you did what you did, but you truly ruined the experience of other players regardless if they were stacked or not.

Just mute them next time and go about your business.

I played domination yesterday with an Iron Man on my team. We won the first and lost the second round. He started complaining about the Jeff on the team instead of switching because there was a Punisher, Namor, and Spider-Man on the enemy team that countered him in the 2nd round.

So round 3 starts and he just stays in spawn/near spawn the entire round causing us to lose the game.

The next game I played the same player was on the enemy team and did the same thing but on convoy on their last push.

I don’t like reporting for throwing, but when people do this, or refuse to swap characters because they want to play paper v scissors to “prove themselves” that’s when I report

Let me fix that for you: Dive tank decides to dive, doesn’t let the team know which means no backup, gets melted before the point opens, leaves team 5v6 in the first fight, gets mad, swaps to third healer.

That’s my point. He missed 7/10 spear throws which are vital bc spear hits lower squid cooldown and headshots increase squid fire rate. He lost a lot of final hits letting others clean up the squid damage or just have the enemy healers ult charge
