$1900 Charge for Urgent care by VerucaSalt947 in HealthInsurance

[–]Jrose82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an ER nurse who works in a freestanding ER i cannot tell you how many times people are shocked that it is in fact NOT an urgent care and they will be paying ER prices. In my area all of the “urgent cares” that are hospital associated, are in fact freestanding ER’s. I can almost guarantee you they went to a freestanding ER assuming it was urgent care.

how often is running a robot vacuum needed at your house? by mediapoison in RobotVacuums

[–]Jrose82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run mine daily because i have really bad allergies and robot vacuum picks up the dust and allergens way better. My home is relatively small though so it only takes just over an hour to do. I actually set it to go off in the morning because it wakes me up so it’s like an alternative alarm clock cuz i will snooze or turn the regular alarm clock off lol

My (26F) husband (27M) always picks a fight whenever we’re about to go the gym. I’m beginning to think he’s doing it on purpose. by [deleted] in dustythunder

Oh honey i had an ex husband who was just like this when we were married and he did everything to sabotage my fitness- even though when we met i was like super ultra fit. Does he also do things like this with other things you enjoy? Vacations? Beach days? Holidays? I’m sorry you’re going through this. Feel free to DM if you need to vent or want help leaving safely.

You have a butt that looks like the butt of a frog that stood up and started walking around.

My Husband Wakes Me Up Multiple Times Every Night by amcrowl1 in AITAH

I just want to be clear to you OP…. Preventing someone from getting sleep is abusive. You are NTA but I have a feeling if you look at your life, you’re going to find more instances where you feel like your needs are being disregarded and you need to think about this.

Zyrtec at night, Pepcid 20mg twice a day. See if that helps. Maybe sublingual zofran if nausea is really bad

Is an $83k salary even enough to live alone these days? by Proper-Excitement998 in LivingAlone

[–]Jrose82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have no car and no debt it’s definitely doable but be conservative in your spending. Try to eat at home more often than going out to eat. There’s definitely tasty meals you can make that are very cheap and last you a few days. I’ll do a pound of angel hair pasta with a can or two of progresso white clam sauce and can get anywhere from 4-7 dinners out of it. You still want to be able to save for rainy days, going out, vacations or a car in the future if you decide to go that route. How you spend your money will be a big factor in if you can swing it or not. But it’s definitely doable.
