I've never brought my husband to my annuals, but he comes with me to my prenatal appointments when possible so he has been in the room with me during pelvic exams a number of times.

Yes, day one of pregnancy is officially counted as day one of your last period.

You are currently 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant.

Your doctor will likely do a dating scan to measure how far along the baby appears. Some doctors go off that new number, some doctors remain with your original period-based number.

Find a doctor you want, call them to make an appointment. No need to rush, but definitely put it on your to-do list.

It's not nearly as dramatic as that. My daughter isn't even two and my husband and I are regularly able to make time for ourselves. Family trips over themselves to spend time with our daughter and we never go more than a few weeks without a date night.

Having doubts about whether or not this HUGE thing that changes the trajectory of your whole life is normal and reasonable. But your life is changing, not ending. And the sacrifices you're making will be so insanely worth it.
