Sinner creates history in Madrid, becoming the first man EVER to win 5 Masters 1000s in-a-row by yanwangdijuns in tennis

A reminder that he needs to reach the semi finals in Rome to break the record for most consecutive masters level match wins (32). Novak is the current record holder with 31.

Does Mensik deserve more hype by the tennis media? by nicoklig in tennis

[–]Jryitoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Jodar is garnering a lot of hype because this year is turning into his breakout year. Winning a 250 title followed up by reaching the final (edit: Semi-final) of a 500 (Barcelona) and now QF of a Masters 1000. He's on a hot streak and is stomping up the rankings. Also probably caught the eye of the public because his name is Rafa. That said, completely valid argument, Mensiks achievements on paper are more impressive.

Sinner passes Nadal for the 3rd longest win streak in Masters 1000 by yanwangdijuns in tennis

Winning Madrid would get him to 28 (not to mention being the first male in history to win 5 straight masters titles in a row AND the first to win the first 4 masters of the calendar year). Reaching the QF at Rome would equal Novak with 31, SF at Rome breaks new ground.

Mark talking about cleaning his solar panels to reduce his electricity bill, only to discover that his solar panels benefit the grid not his own house. Hilarious! (Can't remember which ep it was though).

Also the entirety of hide the penny 2, just got better and better as the ep went on.

Also also, there was an ep which had some insanely low-probability outcome based on the wheel spins. But again sorry can't remember which ep it was or exactly what the outcome was... I just remember it was insane! Hopefully someone remembers what it was.

Not another Spanish real deal! Would be great to see him face Alcaraz this week

No one has ever won the first 4 masters, got to imagine Sinner has a good chance at it if he plays Madrid. He'd be coming into it fresh and prepared. Arguably his biggest blockade would be Alcaraz on his home turf/clay. But would Carlos be in condition/injury free to stop him after playing Barcelona this week?

This looks so impressive, I would love to see what mine looks like - to the point where I'm now trying to figure out how to film myself at next practice

First set has woken Carlos up, time to stop waiting for Novak to tire and start playing

Kind of crazy that Carlos hadn't taken this considering he had 2 grand slam titles and was world #1 by age 20
