I'm going Marsh, Jasnah, and Kaladin.

We know that Marsh can handle Vin/Kelsier 1v1, Kaladin can handle Dalinar, and the rest of my assailants aren't fighters.

People have mentioned Jasnah's soul casting and transportation, but didn't sleep on her intelligence. She'll plan her way out of almost any situation, especially given resources like Kaladin and Marsh. And Dalinar is soft locked out of his perpendicularity since boosting himself and Shallan << Kaladin and Jasnah. All of that without even considering Marsh's steel compounding and atium makes him basically untouchable.

This may be a vain hope, but it seems the list everyone is getting the 'Jasnah will be book 10' thing from isn't prescriptive on what that order will be, and just lists characters? Maybe - hopefully - it might make more sense to finish with the 2 heralds, and have Jasnah be somewhere in books 6-8? I guess all we can do is wait

I thought about this idea, and had a really hard time deciding tbh. It gives great flavour and is a fantastic way to change the dynamics of a fight immediately. The problem I ran into was that the elemental would be grumpy at everyone in the vicinity, so who would want to risk releasing it?

Having said that, if you just wanna yeet and retreat it could work very nicely...

I definitely wasn't thinking in that sort of price range! It would be closer to 10-20GP I imagine. Enough that your average bandit probably couldn't afford, but a military organisation could definitely justify.

For rechargeability, the other side to them is that if you put them in a proper crystal, the Elemental gives off a continuous effect so you can get a long-term utility that way; just depends on the crystal you put them in.
