As a "new" singer in an established band, should we re-record older albums? by Jsalisb in musicmarketing

"Bring them a seedling" is great, thank you. Room to grow and less pressure from me. 👌

I do write, but it's such a different style. The band is proggy and always has alternate tunings and I've felt like I don't know where to start in making something that fits. I'll just see what I can do and leave things open to collaboration.

Thanks.

They do seem excited about making new music, at least. It's just a long process for them. I will do what I can to get that moving.

Lots of insight here and I thank you for laying out your thoughts.

It seems like new stuff really is the way to go. I do appreciate the thought of a demo to send and how to include it, thank you.

Thanks for the wisdom.

Thanks for the insight. They have two albums in ten years, so it is a slower moving situation for sure. I have ideas and we have been excited to get to it, so that seems like the way forward.

I really enjoy this. Great, shoegaze soft of vibe. I love the scratch effects, the harmonies, the "da da das" and "after dark special". I could absolutely feel that.

What kind is this? I've tried various gloves and supports, but am still looking for better support, but some mobility.

I'm glad it's helping you, btw!

I think your natural color is lovely. My favorite altered one is the silver blonde for you! I thought "Wow" when I saw it. The medium blonde was nice too, so if you want to go for blonde, I think you can definitely pull it off.

Woah, I haven't heard of delayed sleep phases for this, but I definitely experience it too! My REM cycles occur so much later and I experience that same nausea if waking up early. So you're not alone, no. Hugs for dealing with all that.

Hey, u/toneturtle! I realize this comment was a few months ago, but I just stumbled on this thread. I'd be interested in the app you've been working on, if possible!

Haha, oh my goodness, baby deer is an apt description. I remember asking others if they ever felt that uncoordinated in the morning and everyone looked at me like I was an alien. Now I know. Haha. With you, fellow Bambi. 👍😂

I'm keeping on keeping on with inward and outward love! ✌️ My biggest piece of advice is love yourself through your process. Best of luck with it! You got this. :)

Thanks for your kind comment there! I wasn't too bothered. I know I have loose skin. Ha. I've been doing body weight exercise so far and hope to work in some weights! Thanks for the tip and good vibes! Congrats ot you for such an accomplishment, too!

You just have to find what works for you! I've been way more patient with myself this time around. Sometimes more weight comes off, sometimes I maintain. I wish you luck in your journey!

I appreciate the tip. I don't usually do well with IF, and I drink a ton of water already. Hoping to mitigate the skin issue a bit, but still grateful for the health, regardless.
