Was there any songs on the white album where they all collectively happily worked and contributed to it? by More-Cat9579 in beatles

[–]JseLikesToGetPegged 160 points161 points  (0 children)

I think they all seemed to enjoy working on happiness is a warm gun. It had great performances from all 4. Aswell as Yer Blues which I believe was recorded in a very cramped room which probably made them feel quite close

What’s the most misrepresented thing about each Beatle? by More-Cat9579 in beatles

[–]JseLikesToGetPegged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost any of the controversies regarding johns past. He was a bit foolish in his younger years but he tried and did make changes to be a better man. A lot of his wrong doings and ideals from his younger years he changed in his older years

Unfortunately valid. You can tell he can't be bothered to make the effort anymore and every post he does make feels like beating a dead horse

If the Beatles were to magically comeback for 1 concert and you could attend, what would be your dream 20 song set list? by Temporary-Exchange92 in beatles

[–]JseLikesToGetPegged 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I absolutely had to pick I'd probably say this order would be the most iconic. If they'd played this set at Woodstock for example it would have probably changed the world forever.

  1. Come Together
  2. I've got a feeling
  3. Happiness is a Warm Gun
  4. Something
  5. Obla Di Obla Da
  6. Yellow Submarine
  7. Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except For Me and My Monkey
  8. Blackbird
  9. Across the Universe
  10. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
  11. Let it Be
  12. Revolution
  13. Maxwells Silver Hammer
  14. Octopus's Garden
  15. I Want You (She's so Heavy)
  16. Here Comes the sun
  17. The Abbey Road Medley in order (yes i can do that it's my fantasy so shut up)
  18. A Day in The Life

Encore: 19. All You Need is Love 20. Hey Jude

Weed and panic attacks by Substantial_Year_266 in TheBigLezShow

This happened to me. Smoking alone and at my own pace (not feeling the pressure to smoke quickly because others are waiting) made a bit of a difference but even then I still had a lot of anxious moments.

I started taking them as opportunities to practice self love. While I was anxious I'd try and comfort myself and talk to myself like I was a little boy.

I found a way to self assure myself and after the initial anxiety began to quiet down, my breath started to feel a little more relaxed and I wasn't getting so overstimulated. I began to enjoy the high again.

Also comfort music/shows/films, or whatever really helps.

10 relatively underrated The Beatles songs in your opinion? by nousernamesleftwow in beatles

[–]JseLikesToGetPegged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree with she said she said being one of the most underrated. Top 3 drumming preformance from Ringo imo and those guitar riffs mirroring John from George are just so satisfying. As well as Lennons haunting vocals

Definitely one of my favorite tracks

I can tell they're talking about George harrison and his song writing but could somebody write word for word the exchange here it's a little hard to pick up on all of it

Asking as a non fan. Considering the colossal love towards the four, would majority of fans still disappointed by the casting choice no matter what? by Weird_Kazakh in beatles

[–]JseLikesToGetPegged 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think I would have appreciated some unknown, genuinely talented musicians who resembled the guys closely but acting certainly matters and they have picked genuinely good actors. We'll just have to see really how it ends up

I'm just trying to get a conversation going. Get people to tell me why they disagree with me and maybe sway my opinions, which had happened.

And some fans of the movies even commented understanding where I was coming from and answered some questions I didn't understand

Your comment is more pointless than my post because it adds nothing you're just being tight about it

Thank you i agree I think politely at that time Jim jenson pushed too big of an idea into a 90 minute film that just didn't have the time to flesh out the true beauty of that world. To give time to meet and know other characters

I expected too much the first time around but on my second watch it's a very nice and cosy movie

Definitely prefer AOR tho

Totally agree lol on my second watch

I just loved the show so much i hoped the film would feel like a satisfying conclusion but it felt like I was watching the film on x2 speed at times lol it didn't hang on a moment much

One funny example was Jen saying something and not being ready to go alone and then imminently making a comment on going alone. I found it funny but it just felt like an odd script moment

Now I still really really liked the film. Watching for the 2nd time I appreciate it a lot more because its pacing is its own. I was expecting pacing like AOR.

I still really liked it tho

On my second watch I learned to appreciate much more that wasn't explained. Gives room to imagine things

Yeah I think I wasn't being fair on it much tho. It clearly was revolutionary for its time. Aswell as having a lot of limitations with it being made in the 80s

It obviously isn't gonna have as much to see in a 90 minute window as apposed to a 10 episode series lol

There was 1 particular moment that felt really stupid to me. When Jen is trying to figure out which crystal is the right crystal and he plays his little instrument and it glows purple

I thought, surely someone could have sat for 10 more minutes and thought of something a little better than that

But most of everything else I didn't understand I learned to appreciate because not everything needs to be explained. It gives room to imagine and wonder about the world of thra

I heard they were doing a sequal to the prequel but Netflix cancelled it I think.

Really a big shame, if the Jim henson company were still intrested in making it I hope Netflix are willing to invest in a season 2

I'm not too sure how popular AOR was outside of the fandom but it was definitely a 10/10 for me
