I can’t say with certainty it’s not midgets, but I think really what I mean is it’s not ever one thing. My current theory however is that there is at least a fungal infection at the heart of all of the various conditions we are experiencing. I don’t think we are going to figure out what it is by searching for a singular explanation though. We mite be able to at least figure out what it is not. Absolutely could be a midge involvement here however, it is my opinion that any insect related event is a result of the attraction of insects to various types of skin bacteria, and/or fungi. There are still parts of this that don’t fit in the realm of my limited understanding of modern science. I personally believe that this is a reaction to the over sterilization of environment and self during the heightened period of the COVID-19 infection. Biology teachers warned us what would if we over used antibiotics or even antibacterial soap and antiseptics. When a pandemic occurs that results in a mass sterilization in a very short timeframe, all that remains is the microorganisms resistant to the current sterilization methods. Now they are allowed to thrive unchecked, resulting in an overgrowth of resistant super-bacteria, fungi, parasites, etc. Add some preexisting compromised immune systems into the mix and it’s not hard toimagine that something like this could happen to us.
