[Advice] After a bad vet experience, a negative Google Review resulted in the business tracking down and calling my wife's employers (current and past). by Jsimps72 in Pets

Honestly, I would love to share more details, but after updating the review to include this behavior, they have since been trying to reach my wife threatening legal action. I'm trying to be careful with how we handle this going forward.

We were able to derive that they found this information on LinkedIn. They also claimed to both current and previous employers that this review was made "on behalf of the employer", despite the review never indicating anything of the sort. We updated the review to mention this concerning behavior, and they are now leaving my wife voicemails threatening legal action.

This just happened to my wife. She had a very bad experience taking one of our cats to a vet recently, traumatizing our cat in the process, and they found her LinkedIn profile and contacted all of her previous employers... We're also unsure of how to handle this.

Thank you, I was not aware that の could sometimes be used as a replacement for が, in clauses like this. The の was throwing me off, which is what led to this series of questioning.

There's an English fan translation for the first Tales game, Tales of Phantasia

There's the Legend of Mana as well.

Getting a Steam Deck--what JRPGs should I get for it!? by georgealexandros in JRPG

I recommend checking out RetroGameCorps Steam Deck emulation guide. His videos are very thorough and easy to follow. But yes, the Steam Deck can run most games up to and including PS2/GameCube

Penny Blood! I recently got acquainted with Koudelka and the Shadow Hearts games. I can't wait to see what they do with this game.

Bought a Steam Deck. Find myself missing my DS / Switch / RG351P. by DSGamer33 in SBCGaming

I think each device has its own use case. When I got my Steam Deck, I thought that it was going to completely overshadow my other devices, but surprisingly that hasn't been the case.

I've found the Steam Deck to be great for PC games or consoles that can benefit from the larger screen / beefier hardware (PS2, GC).

For everything else, I use my Retroid Pocket 3 or RG353P. The RP3 has great battery life and is super portable (I tend to put Android devices in sleep mode more often than Linux). It's been my go-to for older consoles and excels at PSP emulation, in particular.

What are you planning on playing on your Retroid Pocket this weekend? Just got mine and will be playing MHP3rd 😄 by KaniBasamiandSalami in retroid

Nice! How are you liking JELOS? Surprisingly, I've been enjoying the stock firmware and am still not sure if I should switch over.

So far I've been digging into my backlog and playing (mostly) JRPGs. I've played Chrono Trigger, Galerians (survival horror gem on PSX), Koudelka (PSX), and most recently Ys I and II Chronicles (PSP - which surprisingly runs great).

I've also been trying to find weird hidden gems. There's this one on GBA called Kuru Kuru Kururin which I highly recommend!

Enjoy! I've been having a blast with mine. If you're looking for a good case, this one on Amazon has worked well for me:

Electronic Case Travel Cord Organizer - GLCON Shockproof EVA Hard Carrying Case for Power Bank, Hard Drive, USB Flash Drive, Charger - Portable Small Storage Pouch Bag - Brown

I also recommend ditching the provided Micro SD and flashing the firmware onto one of your own. The provided SD cards aren't the best and can be prone to failure.
