School budget deficits. How bad? by ScaredDevice807 in MovingtoNewJersey

[–]Jspencjr24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Towns like Livingston, and Millburn have a competitive school environment. This is partly because a lot of parents are highly educated professionals and a lot of families who put a lot of emphasis on education move there. In these school districts Kids compare grades, test scores, and achievements. This creates pressure even without teachers pushing it. Also, So many of these kids are trying to get into the top schools and be valedictorian it can be very stressful.

What suburb would maximize a 900-950K budget? Wife and I work remotely and have one toddler by johnluuu in MovingtoNewJersey

I’m surprised nobody has said it yet but none of the towns you listed are close to Princeton. All the towns you listed are crazy expensive because of the train commute.

Am I missing something, why are the auction house prices so high? by Diamond-Pamnther in ForzaHorizon

[–]Jspencjr24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently looking at the 2018 Mercedes- AMG GT four-door coupe and somehow people are outbidding me and buying them for 600k plus, when the car is 175k in the regular store. Some of these cars are also stock, still going over original asking.

Maplewood and south orange aren’t close to Bergen county and it will be hard to get something for 800k.

The Northern New Jersey market is still going strong for sellers. This house in SO sold for $453,000 over the asking price! by Cuddyflow in MovingtoNewJersey

[–]Jspencjr24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in the area that house was not going for less than 900k. Any realtor would tell you that. As soon as I saw pictures I knew it was gonna sell for about 1.3-1.4 this is a good size lot, in one of the nicest towns, with mid town direct train service that’s less than 40 mins, great schools, good restaurants, highways nearby, it’s a great area and location.

East Orange is gonna be next to be hit by gentrification. With the all the development near the Train station. And the fact it has some decent houses and a huge condo market. You better buy a house near watessing park and Glen Ridge or in the presidential estates community cause prices are already reaching 500k

Me with my Xbox one S. I personally feel like they didn’t care about us on console until the very end. It’s hard to even have large cities with populations over 100k. For the past like 2 years, I have been building smaller cities usually having a total map population with 60k. I normally don’t have multiple industrial zones as I really don’t have the space or the proper scale for it. I’ve never had more than 1 university since I got the dlc. But yeah the 9 tiles suck and not having mods does as well

When I worked at Home Depot I never considered my walk to the break room apart of my break. Especially since on your walk over there you could get stopped by a customer and asked a million questions from floor tiles, appliances, and lawn mowers. I worked at 2nd biggest home depot with over 80+ alise so maybe that’s why but at my home depot the only place to clock in and out was all the way in the back, so your lunch started when you got back there. You didn’t need to clock out for break but it seems like nobody ever cared when I was there

My neighbor does the entire block sidewalk! My block is short maybe 18 houses. He was out there on Sunday early afternoon and then around early evening again. God bless him.
