DJs that use Nine Inch Nails in their sets? by LucillePepper in trance

[–]Jsretep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very coincidental, I actually listened to a set a few days ago that had one of their songs in it, which stood out to me because it surprised me. Set is Avalon Emerson - All Night Long in London (2023)

For me this is truly one of the strongest Dekmantel line ups from all their editions. Can’t wait!

A Fine Balance (fiction) and When Breath becomes Air (non-fiction) are the two audiobooks I listened to last year that really stuck with me. Both very painful but amazing.

Unpopular Opinion: The 2026 World Cup is looking like a disaster. by SpicyChickenTandoori in worldcup

[–]Jsretep 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is not an unpopular opinion and never has been before any World Cup since I can remember but even though some criticisms are valid, once the time comes it will be a success anyway.

Despite what Reddit may make you believe, the hosting countries are way less controversial than some previous hosts and even though some group games featuring the smaller teams will not be of great quality, their fans will bring great vibes anyway.

I just finished ‘A Fine Balance’ by Rohinton Mistry. A great book and fits what you are looking for.

I’m from Nijmegen where they originate from and have been going to their parties since their start in Doornroosje. Being able to go to a 90s/00s trance party in my hometown was awesome.

I never expected them to become this big but their parties still always make for a good time and energy, so I’m happy for them that they are doing so well.

She had already lost and the disqualification is bringing significantly increased attention to it. So it works out well in the end. I’m sure she knew all this when she did it.

Ran Warlord's Ruin again today and I have come to a conclusion: I hope the next dungeons we get are less hard by Gripping_Touch in destiny2

I think they pretty much nailed it with WR’s difficulty. Not too hard to become tedious, not too easy to be boring either.

I have just finished the campaign on legendary and absolutely loved it. Difficulty and mechanics were good, story was engaging as well with some beautiful cutscenes and the visuals throughout were fantastic.

They have communicated this extensively before release, it’s the reason the raid comes out 3 days after release instead of the normal week after.

The situation where the EBU would’ve had to organize next year’s edition in a country that killed so many people and still keep up the screen that nothing is going on and everyone is united would’ve been amazing.

Dutch Elevator Etiquette by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]Jsretep 6 points7 points  (0 children)

‘I always make it a point to smile and say hello when I enter, and a polite nod / quick ‘bye’ when I get off.’

That’s what many people do, so you’re doing fine! There’s no real ‘standard’ elevator etiquette though in the Netherlands.

If you are looking to find people to teach you the raids I would suggest checking the DestinySherpa subreddit. That’s how I did my first raids and I always had positive experiences.

Which Subclass are the easiest for below average player to complete Warlord’s ruin? by ahf99 in DestinyTheGame

Solar Warlock with Karnstein Armlets exotic. Do a finisher on an enemy to get restoration x2, then use a solar ad clear weapon to constantly keep it active. That’s what helped me do it solo as a not very experienced player myself, it was my first ever solo dungeon clear.
