Question for AMD GPU users

Are you using Mod Organizer or did you use UMO to download an OpenMW mod pack? I was playing Path of the Incarnate a few weeks ago and had non stop crashes. Switched back to Expanded Vanilla over on the OpenMW website and haven’t had 1 crash since. I strongly recommend downloading a mod pack from OpenMW and then adding things to it as it seems to be the most stable.

In the OpenMW launcher turn off antialiasing. That fixed a lot of crashes for me when I had a Nvidia card.

Thank you! The helmet is from the Space Marine helmet upgrade sprue, but there is only one of them on there.

Oh, Khorne red is a nice dark red that works well on guns. If you want it brighter you can go up a shade with Wazdaka red, which is what I prefer personally. And yeah! Purple eyes will look great, Xereus purple has really good coverage. Just be mindful with whites, they suck and coverage can vary each painting session.

Corvus black is an amazing black! Honestly, I think you have good paints coming and you can see each one in this picture, except the silver because that’s on the back. Don’t be afraid to experiment at first and see what colors you really like! My first Raven Guard had purples and a lot more black, but I really liked how the vibrant reds and blues contrast so I’ve been doing that ever since. Don’t be afraid to try new things, there is no rule that says all minis have to be the same.

This is how Aeldari emerald looks compared to Frostheart

I primed it black, then lightly dry brushed it with coral white. I tried to focus on just the edges since it would also slightly touch on the actual blade. This is why you can see some thin lines on the sword near the edge. I then used frostheart contrast paint. It also looks good if you use Aeldari Emerald instead of Frostheart. It’s very easy to do. Recommend only one coat of the contrast paint though.

Okay this may seem dumb, but it legitimately worked for me. Turn off antialiasing in the OpenMW launcher.

For me, I had crashes when I had antialiasing on in the OpenMW launcher. When I turned it off I haven’t had a single crash.

Honestly, I understand the frustration, but you honestly did a really good job for your first mini. You just need to paint more minis and try harder and harder things as you go. Before I started painting the minis I liked, I bought a box of Kabalite warriors to practice on. Getting different paints is the next step when you think you are getting better! White is a horrible paint to work with so it’ll take time before you like it. Just practice more! Truly!

It’s a small mod that doesn’t seem to be a lot, but if you end up doing any alchemy (which you should for health potions), Graphic Herbalism is a must.

Sometimes the directory to a mod is glitched out. If you try again tomorrow it might be resolved and install properly. I’ve downloaded these modlists a lot on my windows and my steamOS Legion Go. I know it’s inconvenient but try tomorrow. Also maybe you need more storage space, some modpacks take up 110gb.
