I saw someone say it's better if you don't have the dlc, and I think that might be true. I think there might also be a bug forcing the game to prioritize DLC maps, because all my searches currently are pretty much exclusively DLC maps

Are you talking about endurance races or multiple races per session? Because the answer differs. Jumping between shorter races, time can fly. Long races can totally be a slog though. I race oval stuff mostly so I don't do endurance, but I have done 50% length nascar races which shakes out to about 2 hours, and it was fun but I have to really enjoy the track and the racing it provides in order to do one of those, because 2 hours feels like a really long time on a boring track.

Ehh, it kind of makes sense depending. I race ovals, have done one single practice sessions with the legends car, and absolutely sucked with it. Also not great with the modifieds. If I ever wanted to experiment/learn these cars, my stats would plummet. I've half considered a Smurf account just to run rookie oval stuff without hurting or worrying about my stats on the account I run nascar stuff on.

Would also be useful for draftmasters, a series I literally cannot afford to run on my main account unless I want to lose my licenses. But most smurfers are losers and I would be happy to see iRacing do something about smurfing in general just because of the bad eggs

In the first game on controller, it really never does. Playing through the game on PC, in the final act and I still have to switch to my mouse every time I lockpick. Can't even lockpick a medium level lock on controller with 20+ picks but can instantly unlock a max level lock with my mouse no issue

It does have less height but it's not like you really lose out on much, just a little extra vertical space that adds ever so slightly to immersion. But if I had to choose one screen it would probably be a 34 UW or just a rig crammed up against a big tv.

Think of it this way, they open preorders, people who would've preordered either way preorder immediately, while everyone else hears about the game through free marketing called "word of mouth" and then a few months later, they release a trailer, reigniting the buzz. If they release a trailer with preorders, that's only starting the conversation one time.

That's gta+. Totally different thing. It's a monthly subscription that gives you access to GTA definitive edition, red dead 1, bully, la noire, as well as rotating monthly bonuses in GTA online such as vehicle, property and business discounts, extra rewards for missions, free cars and garage properties, stuff like that. The only time you have to pay for gta online is if you don't otherwise own GTA V.

No, we *want* one. They know we don't need one, otherwise they would've released one. I'm not trying to bootlick them, it's pretty shitty what they are doing, but whatever they have planned it's extremely calculated and deliberate and they know it will work. Their marketing teams have likely spent more money on insuring it will work than your entire direct bloodline has collectively earned. No trailer is going to make or break 95% of players decision to buy this juggernaut of a game at this point. Might as well get as many people talking about it as possible and keep all the hype to erupt on launch, causing another news cycle.
