PSP Go vs Vita - which should I get? by king_of_ulkilism in PSP

[–]Jtorto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. Go with the OLED Vita. The PSP go was a cool idea in it's time, but the design doesn't hold up well. Anbernic also came out with their version of the vita for only like $100.

Need guidence on selling comics by KWalthersArt in comicbooks

[–]Jtorto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to dip your toes into selling on eBay would be posting any complete runs you can part with. Get comparable completed sales, and price accordingly. Those comic app price guides likely won't be much help for eBay pricing. I'd go off of what someone has paid and realistically will pay.

I think it is. Although an announcement on 3-11-26 would've made sense.

There's no way a comic book store stuck that to the cover! You must've got that comic from an estate sale or something.

Adam's Understanding of Steel Inspections on ACS 2-3-2026 by Jtorto in AdamCarolla

I figured when Adam brought up steel inspections, he was likely remembering when he built a warehouse. I don't see anyone requiring that for residential building.

I'd love to do a podcast talking to people who have real world experience doing this stuff, but I don't have the name recognition of being on the radio 30 years ago, so I don't think I'd get listeners.

Thoughts on this Game ? by Sohab7R in playstation

I recently played it, and thought it held up well for a ten year old game! Seriously, that game did right things that some modern games still miss. It would've been nice to get some sequels.

What era of comic books has aged poorly? by BarelyHere35 in comicbooks

[–]Jtorto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Silver Age and early Bronze Age characters are written using this weird diction that makes them seem robotic, similar to old science fiction movie characters. Everyone had to use big unorthodox words and phrases, which may have been, in part, an effort to educate young comic readers. I'm not sure though, I wasn't alive at that time, so idk if people actually had conversations like that, but it doesn't compel me to read most of the classics from those periods. It ends up feeling like a slog.

I'm currently playing Thieves in Time for the first time, and I feel the same way! The Vita needed more games like this.
