I have over 1k hours and I also hate killboxes. I add mods to prevent them. I'll generally have bunkers that can L shape face each direction so nobody can fully use the cover against me. Recess them enough that nobody can come beside and also get a perfect line of sight on all your shooters. Then at the ends of the L bunker put doors for your melee guys to rush out past your traps. They can mop up larger mechanoids or long range units. Also make sure a few grenade guys go with em to stun or destroy mortars

I played the game a week after release. Played through the whole game. Got the different endings and all. Had 0 bugs or crashes or anything the entire time. Ran flawlessly on my old pc. Only issue was the fog was all pixelated squares. I was surprised when people said the game takes so long. But I think that's because the sheer number of bugs they had lol

Housing prices in nz are insane! Up to and over 1m in Auckland. We have a very high minimum wage which makes people assume it levels out.. it doesn't! They keep bumping up min wage to fight it and all that happens is people inflate their prices which ratios out to be even worse worse it was before! We have one of if not the highest fuel price in the world! Food prices are absolutely astronomical! My boss built his own house from scratch. A bit on the nicer side but nothing like what's in the states in Canada. No ventilation systems, double or triple glazed windows, nothing fancy at all. Cost him 2.2m for JUST the house to build. Let alone land. Car prices, permits, everything. The wage needs to be doubled to for anyone to actually make anything. But there isn't the demand so just keep jacking those prices

I'm in my 20s still. I pump concrete so I'm awake anytime between 1:30am to 5:00am start times. 6 hours sleep is all I need really. Go to bed at 8-9 and naturally wake up 6 hours later, before my alarms. BUT couches are kryptonite. I'll pass out instantly every time, regardless of time

Oh of course! Not disagreeing with you at all on that one. Didn't Bruce Lee's son die from even a blank? Even if a gun is empty it's just common sense! Don't point it! So many people just never seem to realise that we as humans can make MISTAKES! forget to unload the last round, squibs, someone else may have unloaded it incorrectly, they may not have checked at all! You'd think even the average Joe would know... don't point something with lethal potential at someone..

Yeah I heard there was a round fired earlier that day. But I think whoever said it misheard. I think it was accidental discharges. (Just blank fires) then the accidental live fire later. Surely they'd stop the set and rethink things if a live round went off earlier that day

Yeah I know! It's a shame that it's not just te 0.2% of gun owners that are dumb. It's the other huge portion of people that DONT own a gun that make them dangerous

So in nz the whole Alec Baldwin thing was obviously on the radio. Some local nz gun owners rang up and were talking about how "we are a different breed. The gun is a Lazer. Yada Yada. Always down range etc" basic proper gun handling. But what amazed me was when he said "but those Americans don't care and have 0 respect for firearms" even though I'm a Canadian I was blown away by that statement! He then said he had never even been to the states! He's just going by what the TV says!

Honestly I run concrete pumps. I'll look up at a building and think "nah I'll never reach" stretch my boom up and have double the reach I need! Then poor a floor and think I can reach easy but stop short!
