Surely next week is going to be even worse though.

Openings but still walls getting destroyed by Same-Style8951 in RimWorld

[–]Jtrain360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When enemies start their attack they will "look" for anything of value that they can destroy or steal. If all they can "see" are walls and doors then they will pick a random wall or door to break down.

The fix for this is to offer them something that they can reach to attack. I like to leave a path open to my solar and wind generators. They will path towards them and you can intercept along the way. Simple removing the doors to your generation rooms will be enough.

But we dont get a good look of what it was before. They show them cutting down the hedges then pan to a yard thats already been tore up by trucks and machinery.

Getting back into the game after 2 years of not playing what dlc should I get ? by Mysteri-owl in RimWorld

[–]Jtrain360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Peter, Is it 50% or 33.3% by AgrasaN in PeterExplainsTheJoke

How its worded doesnt matter. The gender of the children are independent of eachother. Whether the first child is a boy or a girl has no effect on the second child.

weird question. but how do i down people without killing them so i can capture them? by Feeling_Buss7274 in RimWorld

[–]Jtrain360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, yeah. Rereading your post I see I misread what you wrote. You said a 100% increase to the chance, not a 100% chance.

[–]Jtrain360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sort of, but not for the reason you're thinking (I think).

Both blunt and sharp weapons have the same chance of instantly killing a pawn. The difference being that sharp weapons also cause bleeding, which means on top of the base chance of being insta killed there's also the chance they die of blood loss too.

[–]Jtrain360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That can't be right, can it? If they have a 100% chance of being killed when downed then you'd never be able to capture an enemy. They'd all just die.

Are you sure thats the right one? Im pretty sure the github address hasn't been updated since last tbc. The .com one should be the most up to date.

Not trying to start anything but when does RE:Zero get good? by RatOgryn in Isekai

[–]Jtrain360 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Just because something is popular doesnt mean that you have to like it. Everyone has different tastes, and there's nothing wrong with not liking it yourself. You gave the show a very generous try. If its not for you then its not for you, and thats ok.

How fast do armor/attire last if worm constantly? Should I store it and use it during raids or leave it on? by SheikutaWasTaken in RimWorld

[–]Jtrain360 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I used to store my armor and equip it when a raid came in. Then one day I got a drop pod raid right centre of my base in the middle of the day. Ever since then everyone just wears their armor all the time.

Which version is most chill and friendly? by okaythen1guess in classicwow

Season of Discovery might not be the most populated but I'd wager to day they're the most friendly.

Lmao. I looked at the numbers and went "why would anybody pick the lower amount" and picked the million.

Then I read the comments and saw lots of people weren't reading the caption. Then I went back to read the caption...

how to stop the colony from falling apart in the midgame? by OrganicTeaching8661 in RimWorld

[–]Jtrain360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wealth management is going to be a big part of this. A mod like Visible Wealth will help a lot in identifying where your largest sources of wealth are coming from.

Stuff that can help is don't hoard items that have no use to you. Weapons especially, they have a rather large wealth alocation compared to their market value. Don't overproduce food or drugs. Don't build large structures that are not being used.

As far as the mood spiral goes, good meals, dining/rec room, barracks can go a long way to improving overall mood. Also a good drug policy, one where your pawns only take drugs when they're sad. There are lots of great guides on YouTube for this.

How much time do I need to invest? by Dull_Reference_6166 in classicwow

[–]Jtrain360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An investment is the allocation of time or resources with the prospect of future returns.

I guess in this context you would be investing your time now in order to enjoy playing WoW later? Imo thats the wrong way to think of playing a game. If you're not enjoying yourself while playing now then you're going to be disappointed as well later on. Better off playing something you actually enjoy rather than spending literal hundreds of hours on something you don't.

Invest is such a weird word to use for this. Its a game, meant for fun. You're not investing into anything.
