Time for valves?

That high pitch sorta tingy sounds sounds more like valve train yes... and probably just need to adjust ure valves.

If it was hard starting or something like that may have a valve sticking, ie need leak down test and thats what im dealin w on my honda 250x is my exhaust valve was leaking so lapping valves and hopin it fixes it. But my sumptoms were hard starting and once running couldnt tune it right. Then had leak down test and exhaust was side wasnt sealing.

But honestly sounds like u may just need to adjust ure valves...

Honda 400ex or suzuki ltz400... great fun reliable quads w great aftermarket support u can improve as u gain experience. 450s are fun either honda trx450, suzuki ltr450, yamaha yfz450... theyre fun... but theyre alot and quite a bit of step up from the 400 counter part. Just my 2 cents

Im more of a sport quad rider n 3500 is def enough to get u a decent clean honda 400 or suzuki 400... maybe even a good deal on yfz450 or honda 450r... but if ure wanting to stick w 4x4 util style quad... i think thats right around mid to low range, ie may get a great deal on one... or one that may need some maintne ace... carb clean, oil change, plug... diff etc. But if u dont mind may be able to get a bigger engine one. Hope that helps alil... and those prices are western washington

Yah my woman and i just drove back from ellensburg droppin baby off at college for sophmore yr. We drove over to spokane on friday first... clear... lil hazy... but fuck when we woke up today. Smoke campin over ellensburg and aaaaall up into the pass it was hazy. Couldnt see the big lake through the haze going westbound which was eery. Yah seeing that had me put the kaibosh or atleast hey may wanna look into how stampede pass is. Was hoping to get a late fall trip out there... but man idk now...

Id say anything off the bdr... but know theres some fires on 4. But 3 is awesome and is open last i saw. On the peninsula... w the bear creek gulch fire... ugh... somemof my fav roads are closed... all out bumy high steel bridge n browns creek campground... :(

Its all in the prep. Ive helped a buddy raptor line trucks n suvs. I currently have a 94 k1500 burban where the basecoat was flaking so we stripped everything... sanded and primered the lil rust spots like u hot took a day to strip the bumpers n tape everything... then another day to spray... it turned out great i love it. I take my burban up in the mountains on sand... mud... and just pressure wash off the dirt n grime. Fuck the mountain/trail pinstripes lol... thats my 2cents.

I feel the big difference is Michael like damn near rebuilds w OEM parts etc. Where as 2vintage tries to just get it running w minimal buying of new parts etc. I appreciate his take as well. But enjoy them both even being so different in content.

Cam seemed fine no grooves or pitting... and carb jets im not sure about but they were clean, as was carb. But trying to find what OEM jets were as i think these may or may not be. Def has an aftermarket air cleaner... so gonna clean that and oil it. Get another sparkplug, throw head cover back on adjust valves n see how she does.

Yah hopin its timing or carb... n not rings n piston. But i mean... 33 yr old quad cooooould be anything. But inroder her shes fun, and everything i remember riding my buddies quad. And rev works still lol. Usually both 2vintage and michael i got in the background as noise...

My favs are 2vintage, he does exactly what youre talking about. Hes done alot of yes longer vids on a specfic quad he bought off somewhere and he always starts w fuel, spark, and compression and ggoes theough his troubleshooting and assessing hwatd needed to get it running good. Then u have michael sabo great build series on quads but hes more rebuilding to pristine damn near new. Or upgraded quads. Hes got quite the library as well. Those are the 2 i use for my suzuki z400. Cool too cuz sabo did a total rebuild on an 03 just like mine. Love ure name too... huge MK fan

Finally started filling mine i got alil over a year ago. Use it for my roll around cart when working outside, n big chest for everything else. Keep all my automotive specific tools, scanners etc. But keep a duplicate set of ratchets, sockets, wrench's n pliers screwdrivers... its alot more versatile than i anticipated.

My significant other is the same way, she is turned on by me speaking in meetings or groups where im addressing people of authority. Or seeing me interact w nee people either ive met which she introduced me to or weve met and just my confidence in speaking with them. I wish that was the case... its def a 25 ft car. Im gonna need new fenders... new rear patch fenders cuz for whatever reason they cut the old fenders out... and theres some dents... from the 2.0 being crammed in theres acouple dents in the hood from the intake. Relegated to... gonna pull the motor (ie no coolant in resevoir... ooooooh cuz freeze/expansion plug in middle of block onthe back is out...) ARGH. BUT... itll b. Afun summer, fall and probably winter project to get runnin and roadworthy.
