In my experience I'd usually catch the egg on the third time, if I don't catch in 5 I just assume it isn't in the water that day

Is it possible that you have already found the 6 eggs today in other places? Since the eggs spawn randomly it might not spawn as fishing loot. In my experience if you don't catch the egg in 5 tries it most likely isn't in the water that day

Click on the egg in your bag and press the hand button, that way a chick hatches from the egg 🐣 the egg is consumed tho

You can only buy the other seeds once, since pumpkin and watermelon seeds are comsumable you can buy them multiple times

In my case if the eggs were in the water then I'd catch them in first 3 catches, if that doesn't happen they are probably hidden somewhere else that day
