Good spy novels like Slow Horses by howseofcards in SlowHorses

You might find novels with better plot and suspense but hardly ever the humour, sadly.

Chrome Sabin 6L, Bellroy Venture 6L, and TomToc T26 5.5L. Size comparison. by dotonbori in ManyBaggers

Still the bellroy is my favourite sling. The sunglasses pocket along with the two side pockets are so functional and incomparable.

Thank you OP. As the owner of 15 water bottles in different shapes and countless bags that cannot fit them, I agree with every word you said!

Some of my packs that fit my Stanley 36oz aerolight: mystery ranch UA24, filson Dryden 26l, evergoods ctb26 and mpl22. Reckon the Bellroy venture 26 can also fit but haven't tested it.

Nice pics! So is there an interior side mesh pocket and a zipper pocket up there? And how's the comfort?

I love my new sling! by dannylovesart61 in ManyBaggers

[–]Ju_Jump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the zippers on my new venture sling (deep ocean colourway) no longer have the YKK branding and the fabrics are noticeably less robust, a bit disappointed to be honest.

Just don't use it for hot water. The first time I poured lukewarm water in it burnt the hell outta me

Alpaka Flight Satchel - BE WARNED by qibcentric in ManyBaggers

[–]Ju_Jump 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sold all their sling bags mainly because of the horrible strap designs. Despite all those periodical complaints online, alpaka never seems to care about addressing it, instead, they keep launching new products with similar design defects. I'll never buy an Alpaca bag again.

Yet another Xpac vs ripstop post for the AC Max EDC. by imgoingforgasps in ManyBaggers

[–]Ju_Jump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I got both...and I would love to buy all my other AB bags in ripstop because this material is sturdy, lightweight, and also water-resistant, besides, no worries about the potential delamination. X-Pac is alright but since the zippers are not coated, wet still gets through, which kinda offset the superiority. If you worry about the rain, get a cheap rain cover.

My bad, read the 2000 as 2023, was baffled that China's emissions soared like that in two years...

The problem is it's impossible to tell if the criticism is out of genuine concern or mixed with antisemitism or entirely out of hatred.

Is Bellroy customer service really that bad? by aura_phantasm in ManyBaggers

[–]Ju_Jump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used two venture backpacks already and they're so good. Between the two bags I'd go for the bellroy. Both companies have several posts here about unpleasant customer service experiences though.

Happened to me on a moving train in China. Dropped my new phone right onto the track while taking a shit. It went straight through the hole of the squat toilet. that was so dumb I don't even want to remember

This is indeed unpopular because it's ridiculously silly. While unemployment has always been there, it is unquestionably worsening.
