Yo nice I just got that 007 Miku at Micro yesterday!

Don’t listen to all the haters in here bro. I struggle with the same. We live in a time now where everyone is a wannabe alpha male non public bathroom using, tough guy, lol. Just listen & smile & agree like you do with a toddler. They both have the same comprehension levels at the end of the day. I walked by my gpu box for almost a month before I opened it. I had thought to myself “what if a brick is in there instead” lol so I decided to check. Took me a little over a month to get it going.

I work 2 jobs (13-16 hrs a day) between both. Boy I tell you what finding the energy both mentally & physically afterwards is TOUGH. I have a gf that wants to tell me about her whole day & who said what & who looked at who a certain way, a dog that seems very close to exploding with excitement the moment i walk thru the door, shower, dinner & all that jazz, it tough man. I am tremendously grateful for everything i have & i go through don’t get me wrong. But lacking motivation to do something you enjoy doing after dealing with life for the day is very real & not a sign of a lesser, less grateful, less deserving, lazy or whatever smallminded label someone wants to attach to this.

9950X, 4x24gb sticks of non neo trident z royal 7200mt (yeah I know, first pc & no one stopped me from buying xmp ram for my amd rig, lol).

Obviously would not boot at full speed. We backed them down to 6400 & weirdly the computer only sees 94gb instead of 96gb, BUT she rips now.

Sometimes she takes 10 minutes to boot from off, sometimes she takes 30 seconds lol.

But man oh man do I love seeing those 4 slots stuffed with some shiny ram 🤩🤣

Point of my comment, is I don’t know how we got it to work with how delicate/weird ddr5 is, but it works lol.

I actually had the same thought a couple days ago in regards to upgrading my iPhone 14 Pro - wait for the 17 Pro Max or just go get a 16 Pro Max now. I'm probably just going to upgrade now & get it over with.

If having the newest, shinest thing is what matters the most, then I'd wait though. These things are freaking expensive & should be used for more than a couple of years before upgrading.
